“Barbara was a wonderful hostess, she really made us feel at home. All her communication was clear and thoughtful, upon arrival she met us and walked us through the property to ensure our comfort. We were pleasantly surprised to get little cakey treats during our stay which obviously we loved. Nothing was too much trouble and I am thrilled to say the kangaroos came out to see us a few times too, absolutely magical ♥️ thank you Barbara for a fabulous time, see you soon x Hope to see you next year”
Welcome to our secluded idyllic acres at Swan View on Jane Brook. Hygiene and social distance a priority! Our fully renovated, detached, self-contained little guest house, shady pool area and natural spaces make an ideal retreat for a couple or two singles. We are near scenic John Forest National Park, with easy driving access to great walks in the Swan Valley and Perth Hills area. Continental breakfast and a light meal are ready for you to put together in the kitchen.
“The Nest is a beautiful little getaway, that is very comfortable, cosy, and relaxing. The cottage is equipped with everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed cooking in the gorgeous little kitchen, complete with lovely timber benchtops. We relaxed with a book in the lounge area, and watched a bit of TV as well. The bed is extremely comfortable, both my partner and I slept beautifully both nights of our stay. We enjoyed getting to know the animals on the property, and wandering through the fruit trees in the orchard. It was great to have John Forrest National Park in such close proximity, offering scenic walks and recreation areas. We will definitely be back for a longer stay in the future. Thanks Vicki and Martin for your warm hospitality.”

“We have just returned from rejuvenating and nourishing stay at Quenda guesthouse. We live in Perth and were looking for a easily accessible place to head to for the weekend. Within less than 40 minutes we had escaped the city and arrived at this beautiful, peaceful property. The accomodation looks even better than the pictures and is extremely clean, well maintained and luxurious. Every detail has been considered down to the organic body products, soft linens and towels, lovely selection of teas and comfy bed! Claire and Jeremy were the most amazing, professional and helpful hosts. The breakfast was colourful, nutritious and delicious and supercharged us for our morning bike rides through the stunning surrounding areas. The location of the property is very special, you are submerged in trees and nature, it feels very tranquil and you forget you are just 40 mins from the city. The Heritage trail is on the perimeter of the property and allows you to easily walk to waterfalls and the John Forrest National Park. The lively and quaint Parkerville Tavern is just a short stroll away. We had such a lovely weekend and feel like we have reset and reenergised for the week! We hope to visit again soon and highly recommend this place to anyone, local or visiting looking for a relaxing getaway. Thank you so much Claire and Jeremy, you have created a beautiful sanctuary!”
