“This was a spectacular visit, and space. Simple, clean, unique and just too short of a time there. It was a quick visit between COVID quarantine stays. We will be back, to truly enjoy. Our hosts Yona and Elan were fantastic. We loved the spot. Love hearing how it was built by them, with wood cut from the property, and milled by the hosts!!!! Waking up to the sunrise was a remarkable start to our day, and also started the regret of leaving so soon after learning of this great, great find. Too short a time there ... will be back, to explore!!!”

“Karen is an attentive host. She is a positive and caring person. I enjoyed our "coffee talks' each morning. Her "Butterfly House" is conveniently located to down town and Route 145. It is clean and comfortable. It's a place where you can feel "right at home". This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Karen's place in the past year- when visiting family in the Cobleskill area. It will be my first place I check for availability when returning to the area.”

“This is a serenely comfortable place to go if you are looking for a retreat from the clatter of everyday life. My wife and I got a lot of reading done here in between visits to Cooperstown. It is an old but gracefully aging home, spacious, with wide plank floors, a luxurious king size bed and a little front porch where you can sit and talk and perhaps enjoy a glass of wine in the quiet of an evening. It was a thoroughly enjoyable stay and we highly recommend it.”
