Approximately 1 km of rolling ski slope and ski trails of 2, 3, 5, and 10 km. Children's ski slope with a ski lift right nearby. The property is located 1/2 hour from Dalen, Lårdal, Åmot, Rauland, and Seljord. Støga – Pizza restaurant and pub nearby. They are open Friday to Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to approximately 11:00 p.m.

Bakery a few meters away from the doorstep. Rjukanbadet 10 minutes walking distance. Leave the car in the free parking right outside the door. Free Mountain Bus takes you to Gausta/Gaustatoppen only 20 minutes away. The apartment is located in the middle of the city center but still withdrawn from the main street.

Viking age hut listed in 2017 in Øygarden hut area. It is a small cabin area with good distance between the cabins and you have great hiking opportunities just outside the door. The cabin has 3 bedrooms. There is room for 7, but it is best suited for couples or families with children. There is a personal touch to the cabin as it is often used by us as well, so there will be basic goods in kitchen cabinets and there may be goods in refrigerators with durability. Use whatever you need during your stay.
