We stayed here during our time in Scandinavia and it was an absolute highlight of the trip. Ulrica was very friendly, warm, and welcoming, which was so lovely after a day of traveling. The space itself is gorgeous, peaceful, and private. Waking up to swans swimming just outside the window was a wonderful way to start the day. While staying here, my husband and I kept saying that we couldn’t believe where we were - it was all just so beautiful and idyllic. Highly recommend to anyone traveling to the Stockholm area & take advantage of the additional spa/wood-fired sauna offering! They were a treat to end the day with. Thank you, Ulrica for your hospitality and for sharing such a special place!! - Insight for anyone traveling without a car: the public transit was easy to use to and from Stockholm. The walk to the bus stop is a bit hilly so take that into consideration with luggage :) We did use an Uber once after a long day wandering in Stockholm and it was about 18€.

Super nice accommodation, magical view, super lovely patio and perfect with many bedrooms so we were a relatively big bunch. Extra plus bed linens, towels, kitchen equipment, spices, plastic bags, parchment paper etc were provided. It made it easier in our logistics! Fredrik was incredibly quick to respond the days before our stay and also met us when we got there, which was appreciated. The house was clean but we needed to wash some dishes when we arrived, probably due to previous guests. Despite that, the listing exceeded our expectations and I think we were all super happy. I highly recommend it!

Beautiful location with great views from the house and sauna.

We loved our stay! The location is beautiful with nice walks nearby. The cottage is very well equipped. The sauna and wharf are picturesque. Ulla and Karl-Gustav are the most fantastic hosts. Very kind, responsive and available but also respect the space. We would love to come back!

Comfortable and beautiful home away from downtown on a car-free island. Getting to the mainland in Pendelbåti went well.

Vincenzo’s place was perfect for our visiting family. He was very responsive to any questions and made us feel very welcome. It felt like a home away from home. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Thanks for an excellent stay.

We spent a wonderful vacation in Joakim's cabin. The location and facilities of the accommodation were as described and even exceeded our expectations. It is the perfect place to retreat and enjoy the surrounding nature, especially the lovely view of the sea. There are some very nice hiking trails starting right at the accommodation and with the bus and boat stops very close by, other hiking and shopping opportunities are also easily accessible. Joakim was very friendly and helped us with information as well as with a spontaneous, flexible check-in. We definitely recommend Joakim's wonderful accomodation and would be happy to spend another vacation here.

We had an amazing stay at Rika's place in Saltsjobaden. It exceeded all expectations and both us and our kids felt right at home from the moment we stepped in. The house is perfectly set up for a family. Everything is super easy to find and the house has everything and more you could ask for. We also absolutely loved the location. It was easy to get to and easy to get around.

We had an amazing stay in family Rova‘s house. The design-villa is furnished and equipped on an absolute premium level. House and garden have a lot of privacy and stunning views. Pool, swing and trampoline were the highlights for the kids, as well as gym, outdoor kitchens and rooftop hot tub for me. The location lacks nothing. Beautiful nature, beaches, activities as well as restaurants, shops and marinas. Last but not least, family Rova did an excellent job as our hosts, so we felt at home in a second.

Amazing home in a peaceful town and resting on beautiful waters! The stunning views, modern layout, and sauna made me want to stay a few extra days!! Carl was absolutely wonderful and very responsive! Definitely a home I would rent again for summer so that we can enjoy the outdoors a bit more!

Johan and Laila's beautiful house meets all the requirements. Super spacious and nicely located on the waterfront with running trail. We had a wonderful time thanks to the very good care of the hosts. Highly recommended!

Anna was unbelievably helpful and went above and beyond with communication and assistance towards our needs for our stay. The place is a little quiet heaven. The place is very well cleaned, some stains can be noted from time / moisture ie. blinds but it otherwise feels spotless. Very welcoming, has many many kitchen utilities / amenities. I would highly recommend.

A cosy cabin behind Karin’s house with a lot of privacy still. Karin kindly greeted us when we arrived and provided us with a lot of tips for h to the area and Stockholm. The beach nearby is small but quiet. The cabin itself was clean, well-equipped and had everything we needed. We had a great stay.

An absolutely beautiful house with a very great location. There were also more than enough play opportunities for the children. The family responded very quickly to messages and thus saved our vacation. Absolutely recommended. I'm sure we'll be back.

So peaceful! Amazing place to get away from the city. Great access to forest hikes and to Tyresta National Park. Mi-Si was so helpful and proactive; she made us feel very welcome and even offered use of her canoe! We liked it so much that we decided to stay a few extra days. Takes about 15-20 min to walk to Handen/Haninge shops or station through the forest and it's a beautiful stroll! Thanks Mi-Si, we'd love to come back some time! :)

We are so pleased with our stay at this wonderful location! Joakim was super nice, accommodating and helpful and keen for us to have the best experience. A really great place that is really recommended!

I spent (unfortunately only) 4 nights with my kids in this wonderful house. Less than half an hour outside of Stockholm and you are in a different world, totally calm, right by the sea. The sunrise over the sea - if you happen to be awake at 5 in the morning - is just marvellous. The house is beautiful, even nicer than on the pictures, perfectly clean and perfectly equipped. We had some relaxing days swimming (two neoprene suits available), stand-up paddling, chilling on the terrace and boating around the islands. Renting the yellow boat is a must - it's faster than it looks. Thomas is the perfect host - always available and super supportive when you need him. Thanks for this great vacation! Water-skiing (skies available) is on our list for next time :-)

We had an amazing few nights at Annelis beautiful home - the house is extremely comfortable and welcoming and Anneli is very accommodating and helpful when communicating with - the views are incredible and we immediately felt very relaxed and at home when we arrived - couldn’t recommend more ! Amazing host and a beautiful home!

It couldn't have been more perfect... a dream house, beautifully furnished, a wonderful comfortable bed, a large garden, a private beach with a lake, best transport connections in all directions, especially the commuter boat, which is in Stockholm in 70 minutes, but also the 30-minute express bus to/from Stockholm, all shopping in Gustavsberg, the wonderful surroundings and walks in wonderful nature in the immediate vicinity of the house, the Artipelag Museum in a great location and beautiful opportunities to walk.... Such a beautiful spot, absolutely something for the soul. We enjoyed sitting on the feel-good couch on the second floor with a cup of coffee in the morning and watching deer, rabbits and squirrels in the tree. The crowning glory was the visit to the island of Sandhamn, the ride through the archipelago, the secluded sandy beaches and beautiful cottages made the visit now in autumn a unique Swedish idyll. Thanks Christian
