Absolutely loved our stay at this stunning cottage. Tucked away in a lush garden paradise, the setting was peaceful, private, and beyond picturesque. Waking up to ocean views every morning and falling asleep to the sound of overnight showers felt magical. The cottage itself was clean & cozy. We especially enjoyed sipping morning coffee on the deck while enjoying our ocean view. Wonderful place to call home while exploring the Hana side of the island, and our hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a serene escape in a beautiful location. Would come back in a heartbeat!

Beautiful property in tranquil, relaxing setting. Centrally located in upcountry with easy access to nearby towns and distilleries. The home is beautiful; you can see the little touches that make it special and shows much pride in ownership. Hoping to make this an annual event and enjoy the property again!

The most magical nest on Maui, my favorite place to stay. This was my 3rd or 4th stay and as usual, I did not want to leave. The Retreat feels like a treehouse to me, surrounded by night sounds, cool breezes, and fragrant flowers. I had the chance to share it with my adult kids this time. Sydney and Maurice are true stewards of the land, in every sense. She shows you the enormous and beautiful property and teaches you the history woven through her own fascinating stories, how they make coffee (delicious, by the way!). We came away in awe with a deep reverence for the property, wanting to protect and preserve the land, Maui, as well. Sydney feels like family. We cannot wait to return.

We couldn’t be happier with our choice to stay here for our elopement/ honeymoon, the host was very friendly and we were even welcomed on our first day to beautiful flowers through the home . There were goodies left in the fridge for us which was such a thoughtful touch, and everything was super tidy. The incredible view just a short walk from the airbnb is what made us choose this location and made for beautiful photos, we would definitely love to come back!
