This monumental cottage from the second half of the 18th century is located at the foot of the Sint Piter church in the water sports village of Grou. A stone's throw from the water, the ideal base for exploring Friesland. The cottage is equipped with all the comforts, the living room is a nice space with authentic elements, the large corner sofa and large dining table. The kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, kettle and Nespresso machine. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms with a double bed.

Waking up with a view of the dining room, a herd of horses living in freedom, two pigs making their beds in front of the window every evening, and sometimes a sheep walking by... Closer to the pure things in life. That's why there's no Wi-Fi and no TV. There is, however, a large table for playing games together and a lovely couch for enjoying a glass of wine together. Our house is a small but very nice house. From the jetty, you can board the boat and sail towards the Frisian lakes. The house is very quiet and is equipped with every comfort. You can stay comfortably with 4 people at the Wjitteringswei. The beds are wonderful. They are now set up as a double bed but can also be set up as 4 single beds. Wi-Fi is of course also available. And above all, a fantastic view. Check-in from 3 p.m. and check-out until 12 p.m.

10 minutes from Leeuwarden and 4 minutes from Grou is our rural farm in Idaerd. This fully furnished, modern apartment has all the comforts.
