Cabin vacation rentals in Idaho

Just what our hearts and souls needed - a Valentine's weekend with all the things we've been missing: snow, pine trees, the sound of the river, peace & quiet. It was the best vacation we, and the dogs, have ever had! We BBQ'ed dinner every night, relaxed in the jacuzzi while we got snowed on, bought a toboggon in town and went sledding in the yard (LOL), and were starstruck by the elk, deer and bald eagles. The house was perfect for us and the dogs and we had no problems. Hoping to book for winter next year!!

We took a group of 6 to Grand Targhee for vacation. The house is great. Super clean and fun and well organized. Everything you need to cook and eat in. House is located in a great spot. Almost 360 degree views of the mountains. About 20-30 mins from Grand Targhee sji area depending on the weather. About 5-8 mins into the center of Driggs. House had a sauna (which we didn't use), a hot tub (which we did) and fun arcade games. We spent an evening playing competitive Golden Tee golf. Owner was great. Very responsive and helpful. House has 3 bedrooms...one master with its own bathroom and then 2 other rooms with larger bunk beds (double beds). We could have slept 10 comfortably. The 2 other bathrooms are off the main hallway. All very nice. Overall, great house and location and owner. Everyone in our party raved about the accommodations.

Great place for a weekend getaway. We spent the weekend skiing at Jackson Hole and Vanessa’s location was clean, cozy, and exactly what we needed. Highly recommend. She was responsive and quick to help with anything we needed. (:

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here!! Michelle was so kind and helpful with checking in and helping with our needs. We have stayed at a lot of rentals through the years and this is one of the most well cared for rentals we have been in. It was just as beautiful in person as it was in the photo's, and absolutely, spotlessly clean when we arrived. We arrived in the evening on a cold night and it was so warm and cozy upon our arrival. We were looking for a space to spend with our family for a few days not to far from home and also looking for a rental that we could bring our well trained dog along with us as well. This was the perfect retreat for our family for the weekend. Our kids loved the loft area. It is a beautiful cabin, with a beautiful views and has amazing hosts that make you feel right at home, and really care about the people renting from them. We are already looking forward to booking with them again. Absolutely amazing cabin stay!

Root Cabin is a must of North Idaho! Find yourself tucked away on the cliffs above Lake Pend Oreille amongst the trees in a beautiful cabin. The interior reminded me of being in Sweden and it was so peaceful. Everything was thoughtfully placed and curated for a seamless experience of relaxation. Our hosts were very friendly with messaging and respected our privacy entirely. The hot tub at night was magical. Just what the parents of a toddler needed for a weekend before our next baby arrives!

This was a great weekend get away not too far from Boise. Beautiful cabin over looking the river, with the added bonus on a hot tub with a view! Would recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing weekend. Take note that this is not mobility friendly especially in the winter with all the snow.

Joshua 's place is lovely. It's a very cute place located about 30 minutes from The West Yellowstone Entrance. Joshua was a great host and had some nice recommendations for us. He was quick to respond to all out questions and would definitely recommend his place to anyone visiting the area.

We loved our stay here. Beautiful cabin on a large lot that was private and peaceful. It was very clean and tidy and super cozy. We enjoyed playing ping pong in the upstairs loft. It accommodated our big family perfectly! We definitely wouldn’t mind staying here again!

Nice comfortable home. Owner was easy to contact and checked in with us daily to make sure things were ok. Home is waking distance to downtown and nest to a grocery store. Very convenient!! Enjoyed our stay. Thanks

Wow. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat, this is the place! Vinnie was always helpful and responsive. There is a reason AWD/4x4 is required, and you’d best be comfortable on steep terrain and backing up on it! This cabin is perfect for 1-4 people looking to get away and enjoy time together.

Enjoyed the lake!

We only stayed one night, but the beds were firm and just fine. The house was clean. It looks just like the photos. Easy check-in. There were plenty of towels and stocked kitchen. The views are nice. Short drive to where we needed to he in Athol and only 45 minutes to Tubb's Hill in CDA. There are chickens at the neighbors and they have roosters. The train just below the property goes by several times a night. We like trains so it didn't bother us. We had a nice stay for an evening and the lack of TV in the living room had us playing games and spending quality time together instead.

We loved this little cabin! It was so close to sun valley ski resort and had lots of activities to do nearby. The restaurants nearby did not disappoint! We will be staying here again.

Had a wonderful stay a Abbes cabin, it was the perfect commute to Jackson Hole and the cabin had everything we needed

Three girlfriends & I were looking for a place to stay in Garden Valley as we had tickets to Starlight Mountain Theatre. This was the perfect spot for us. It was clean, comfortable, and Angie was a very communicative hostess.

Fabulous winter adventure getaway and wonderful host. The cabin is cozy, private and in a beautiful setting. Burton is a great communicator, truly cares about his guests, gives great advice on what to do in the area and helps make it happen. How many hosts do you know that make cross country ski trails for you because he knows you would like to ski while you were there! Highly Recommend.

Great stay for what we needed

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Since we prefer to cook, the cabin was optimal and equipped with everything you’d need to prepare a meal. Ample space, even with two large dogs. Very clean, very quiet in a great location. We would definitely book a stay again!

We had a wonderful time here! The space and surrounding nature is beautiful and the staff are very welcoming.

We had a great stay. Jill was very accommodating, responding to messages quickly about different questions we had pre trip. Snow shoeing the trail system, accessible from the cabin, was a highlight of the trip. The wood stove was just right providing plenty of comfort for the cold nights. Plan ahead and don’t stoke the fire before heading to the loft for bed, it will roast you out! Log cabin holds the heat well all night before needing the next fire in the am. All the things needed for a comfy and low maintenance stay. Thanks Jill.

Great place for a getaway! Very quiet. Make sure to just double-check your checkout time because the email said checkout at 11, but the paperwork said checkout at 10.
