Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Idanha-a-Nova

We love this house with complete facilities. Eduardo introduced many good places to visit, and we enjoyed very much.

The house matches the description, with everything you need and is located on a land with olive trees that is a real luxury. Tranquility in an area of Portugal that we did not know and surprised us by its nature and the beautiful villages it has.

We had a very pleasant stay at Sara’s place. This house is so charming and very well taken care of. Perfect location to enjoy a little adventure and be out visiting the cutest village in Portugal! I’d recommend Sara’s place without hesitation :)

Antonio is super responsive and made it easy to find the location. The room is just as displayed. Shower is small, but everything works well. Has an A/C for cold/heat too, which was great as it was a cold night when we were there. Definitely recommend. Tight streets, but nice to have parking up by the room. You could also park at the lesser-known bottom gate and walk up, very close to the room as well. If you have a small car then you could drive from that small gate. Didn't find great restaurants in Monsanto, but Antonio suggested another one, so we walked the 15 minutes to the town beneath that had a place called O Carlos that had good food and was open until 10pm. Castle ruins are great. Monsanto town is like a story book. Amazing sunsets.

From the moment we arrived home we felt welcomed by Dona Ana. It was all as described and even better. The house was super comfortable, prepared for the cold and with everything we were entitled to. Many games, books and full kitchen to spend Christmas. The house was in a quiet region but it had everything around. Exactly what we were looking for. Thanks for all the reception and affection. We already want to book for next year. It was a pleasure to spend Christmas in Proença - a-Velha.

We fell in love with Monsanto but It is not easy always to travel somewhere unknown so the care and attention paid to us by Eloisa was so much appreciated! Maria da Conceição is a fantastic host, she welcomed us very warmly and even helped us find a place to park. The house is great, very beautiful on the outside, a typical house of the region. It had everything we needed to cook and to be comfortable. In addition, she offered us some wonderful fruits, Jeropiga liquor, bottled water, cookies... I've never been to a place like this before! The house has 3 air-conditioners that make it very, very warm. The bed was super comfortable. It has a magnificent terrace overlooking the entire village and the Castle. We saw the fireworks on New Year's Eve on the terrace and it was a wonderful experience! The house is located in the heart of the village and in a few minutes we can walk through its typical streets and reach the castle. We loved everything!
