Our cozy townhome is 2 bedroom 2.5 bathroom with about 1200 square feet. We replaced the sofa sleeper 12/6/2025 for the comfort of your extra guest. We are located a few blocks off I-70 and can be at most area attractions, shopping and dining in less than 30 minutes. The Secret Service House in Downtown Independence

Look across to President Harry Truman's home, just as his secret service detail once did while occupying this historic house from 1970 to 1982. The home retains its historic character, plus latter-day luxuries like a 50" TV and bathroom with rain shower and clawfoot tub. Other upgrades include a modern kitchen and a dining table suited for both seating 8 and a competitive game of ping pong.

Charming Waldo Reader's Retreat

Sweet little bungalow in the heart of Waldo. Sits at the back of the property, so there is no fenced in yard. We had a new driveway poured in 2025, you’re welcome to use that or park on the street. Main bedroom is on the ground floor with an additional bed upstairs (the stairs are ladder-like, so not suitable for everyone!). We love this little house so much and think you will too.
