Very lovely and cosy guesthouse in the middle of nature. Very sweet, very quiet and also close to town. Its always a fresh breeze there, not as hot as in the city. You will love our fresh Papayas and other fruits of the lovely garden.
“If you’re looking for a quiet, authentic native house in a tropical garden this is your place! Werner and Fairy Jane are outstanding hosts. They made us feel welcome and ensured we had all we need. They also have plenty of recommendations of places to visit. The house has a nice and convenient bathroom with water heater. The WiFi works well which is always a plus in the Philippines. All in all great stay and we highly recommend staying at their place.”
The private guest cabins are located within a 7.5 hectare operational organic farm. Enjoy the bucolic landscape and explore our islands from this ideal location. We are situated 25 minutes from the airport, and 5 minutes from the jump off point for Honda Bay island hopping. We provide guests with an authentic Palawan farm-to-table experience, and should you wish, you can help harvest fresh fruits and vegetables for your meal or snack. We look forward to welcoming you to our tropical paradise!
“We loved our stay at The Cabins at LVF. The farm is in a peaceful location in Puerto Princesa, set on Paul and Beth’s beautiful, organic farm. It’s a great location to explore the delights of Puerto Princesa and the stunning beaches. Puerto Princesa is an area that shouldn’t be overlooked and just seen as a gateway to El Nido. Paul and Beth are a lovely couple and are the perfect super-hosts - super friendly, warm and welcoming. They can help arrange excursions, transfers, scooter rentals, restaurant recommendations and bookings and anything you need during your stay. Our double room was perfect, it was spacious, homely and immaculate. It was part of a larger cabin which had a large seating area to relax and unwind after a day out and about exploring. There is plenty of space outside to unwind too - the hammocks are a great place to unwind and reminisce of the days exploration. Paul and Beth offer breakfast and dinner. The majority of the ingredients are sourced from their organic farm, those that cannot be are sourced from other local farms. Paul is at the helm in the kitchen, cooking up a storm morning and night - sampling his culinary delights is not to be missed. Around 6pm each night we were offered a glass of homemade pineapple rum, which hit the spot and is a great added touch by Paul and Beth. It’s these personal touches and the warm and accommodating nature of Paul, Beth & the team that make not only for a great stay, but great everlasting memories. Even after we left, Beth kept in contact, keeping us updated on the local travel restrictions caused by the global CoronaVirus outbreak. If/when we find ourselves back in Puerto Princesa, there is no shadow of doubt that we will be booking back into The Cabins at LVF. Thank you Paul and Beth for hosting us in your home.”
Experience comfort and quiet stay with a bit of ruggedness in Puerto Princesa. We promise to treat you right. BGM offers two houses in a gated, secluded compound by the riverside. Tucked away in a quiet, wooded area in Barangay Tagburos. It is 25 minutes by car (10 km) from the city's international airport, 20 minutes from Robinson’s Mall, 15 minutes from Honda Bay, and 1 hour from Sabang (The Underground River).
“Super landlord. Very gentleman. The standard American English breakfast is very rich. It is amazing. I went to islands in more than 20 countries. This breakfast is best. We will go to the underground river the next day. The host also arranged a friend to send us to get a pass free of charge. Taking my car to rent my English is not as good as my husband's. In order to thank the host for their enthusiasm. I made a drink I created for him to taste. A chubby dog is super fun and has the opportunity to come back here. This is suitable for vacation ⛱️”
