The place is stunning! It sits on a hill with amazing views of palm trees and the ocean. The bungalow is lovely, with all the necessities. I loved the cozy decor, and the terrace is fantastic. It’s only a 2-minute walk to Salvacion surf spot. If you surf, this is a great location, especially from November to February when Salvacion gets the best waves on the island. The village is charming, and the people are very welcoming. There are a few local cafes near the surf spot to enjoy. It’s a 20-minute drive to GL, which was perfect for me. I preferred staying in a quiet, natural setting with a short drive to the busier area. Santa Fe is just 10 minutes away and has several cafes and restaurants. It’s a great option for dinner and is closer than GL. Highly recommended! The host, John, was very helpful. He arranged my airport transfer and made sure check-in went smoothly.

The Tiny House is a hidden gem. It is located among the local houses and provides a 'real' Philippines experience. The outdoor kitchen has all the required utensils, a rice cooker and gas stove top. The aircon is very efficient and the bedding comfortable. Our kids shared a bed on the lower level, and we stayed in the double bed upstairs. The access is a bit haphazard as a new house has recently been built over the existing access. The owner spent some money on upgrading a new road to the house, but it is still a bit tricky with scooters. GL is a 15-minute drive away via the main road, while Cloud 9 (10-minutes) and Ocean 9 (4-munites) are relevantly close by. We had scooters delivered to the house (for a small fee) that Astrid organised for us. We would have extended our stay if it was available.

I would rate the villa best accommodation I ever had, conditions and price related!! The villa’s beauty overpasses all the photos, we felt like in Paradise. Claire is such a nice and responsive host! I was impressed, after we checked in and went for the seaside, Claire turned on the AC for us to enjoy cold air when back. So nice and caring!!! The swimming pool is AMAZING daytime and nighttime!! Claire responded to us even at late hours and even keep our baggages after the check in. Many thanks for the nice rental and welcome!! If back in Siargao, for sure back at you!!!
