Beachfront vacation rentals in Island Bay

Stayed a two nights in this gorgeous, peaceful and safe house. Amazing interior just like the photos. Felt right at home. Wifi was great! Janet was exceptional with any questions we had before and after the booking. Her dog was adorable, welcoming us with a hello in his language, so cute. Thank you so much for letting us stay! Home away from home, much needed! Definitely, we'll be back!

A character-filled self-contained flat on Oriental Parade. An excellent location, comfortable bed, great views. Definitely recommended!

The views are outstanding, pretty much 360 degrees. The property is spotless and finishings are of a high standard. Bathroom supplies were excellent and a fabulous hamper on arrival. If I was being picky, my two gripes would be its not easy to find, however when you find it, its definitely worth it and there isn't really a deck with enough seating for the family to enjoy a bbq. Photos don't do this property justice, you won't regret it and I would recommend in a heartbeat

The Sea Glass Cottage was downright amazing. A beautiful location right along the coast. We spent most of our time on the spacious patio overlooking the water, with a second patio on the second floor also with a water view. The cottage came with every amenity you could want and was clean and tidy. Located on a quiet street with free parking close by. A short 2 minute walk to some lovely cafes and beach. Petra was super friendly and responsive. We would love to stay at the cottage again and highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful weekend with family, staying at Julie’s house. There were 3 good sized bedrooms, 2 with great views. Everything was really clean and spacious, the kitchen was well equipped, and we had lots of instructions. Julie communicated well before our check in. Parking directly opposite was a bonus. For anyone with mobility issues, just be aware that there are steps up to the entrance, and living / sleeping is on 2 floors.

I booked at the very last minute at 6:30pm on the night and the host responded so quickly. I am so grateful because this old house is very unique with plenty of history. Awesome views that you never get tired of. Walking distance to every where. Be aware there are a lot of stairs to get to the property and bedrooms rooms up on 2nd level so if you have old or bad legs this could be a problem. Not a problem for me at all though & I am nearly 60. Thanks for a great stay and sharing your family home with me.

A great place for our family to meet. Lisa was helpful with adjusting our booking requirements. The kids enjoyed the grass area. Very handy to have the bakery next door and cafe just down the road

We loved our time here. Beautiful waterfront location, bountiful back garden, comfy beds, and generously equipped, for a family of 5 to have an enjoyable stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful homely apartment with the most stunning outlook! We spent so much time just viewing the comings and goings on the harbour and didn't want to leave! It was well appointed, superbly located within easy access to the CBD and having car parking was a real bonus. Giles was a very accommodating host and was readily available to answer questions. He was kind, informative and went over and above in terms of parking and providing some goodies on arrival. We would definitely recommend this lovely home and Giles to others and would love to stay again even though we live in Wellington :).

lovely light & bright house. a little road noise but felt quite secluded and a great location close to coffee and walks.

The apartment was lovely, the location had perfect views of Wellington city and harbour with the ferries coming and going. We had great weather too, so watching the sun set was spectacular. Just a short Uber drive to get into the city for restaurants etc. I would definitely recommend staying here and Craig was super helpful and pleasant to communicate with.

loved our few days in Eastbourne. beds were very comfortable, and the place was so clean.
