Large private getaway within a family home. Guests enjoy a private entrance from driveway; a large private lounge which also has a double bed, a private double bedroom with queen bed, a private bathroom and kitchenette. Cosy heating and electric blanket. Across the road is a safe swimming beach, a children's playground and summer pool. You can walk for miles on this beach enjoying the stunning views of Wellington city and the South Island mountain ranges. We are 3 mins walking distance to shopping and cafe precinct of the seaside Eastbourne village. (Supermarket, Library, Doctor, Pharmacy, Dentist, Hairdresser Beautician, Massage, Deli, Cafes, Fruit Shop, Gelato, (Two cafes do delicious frozen meals.) all within 3 mins walking distance. 10 min walk to Days Bay, a stunning beach that has a Ferry to the CBD. The East by West Ferry takes 25 mins. (eastbywest co nz) Kayaks and bikes are at Days Bay in summer to hire. There are bikes to hire at Burdens Gate for a flat coastal ride to twin lighthouses and stunning views down to South Island. Looking for something special on the edge of Wellington? This place is the best of both worlds, close enough to the airport and city, and within the nature reserve at the red rocks. A short stroll to the Coffee cart in the Red Rocks car park, or some excellent hiking tracks for the more adventurous. Unlimited fibre internet and access to Netflix via Vodafone tv. Seaside relaxed fun

Listen to the sound of the sea and enjoy fun and eclectic Interiors. Your own separate entrance is totally private although attached to my house. The living area has a cool loft bed as extra accomodation. Its a great view up there! Your private ensuite has a ships door shower - a fun way to start the day. The king size bed is super comfy. You can easily walk to a waterfront cafe for breakfast and we are a few minutes drive to a number of restaurants and a short drive into the city.
