“A beautiful place to stay - so quiet, away from it all. Very stylish and the wood burner will keep you very warm! The farm shop is amazing, and there's really no need to go anywhere else, except if you fancy a walk around, there is a beautiful estate and many great walks. We had a lovely time, thank you Clare.”

“Simon & Nicola's place is a hidden gem. It is in a terrific location handily placed for either rail or car journeys into/out of Wales. Set in a peaceful and tranquil location, it had that warm feel at home aura about it. A comfortable bed ensures an extremely good night's sleep is had! Tea & Coffee with fresh milk is provided upon arrival and the accommodation is spotlessly clean. I have nothing but terrific things to say about this stay. Thank you Simon & Nicola.”
Nestled in rolling hills with 40 acres of private tracks, fields, streams, woodland and ancient lime kilns to explore, this rural hideaway is popular with walkers, cyclists and those just wishing to escape the mass media or hustle and bustle of everyday life. Recharge your batteries and enjoy the great outdoors as you toast some marshmallows over the fire pit, say hello to the pet sheep and soak up the sights and sounds of birds, wildlife and sunsets in this peaceful relaxing retreat.
“The cottage was beautiful, cosy and had possibly one of the best equipped kitchens. Jenny and Jemima had put the heating on so that when we arrived in the late evening, we could cuddle up straight away with a glass of wine. There were some lovely touches with milk, eggs and biscuits there for us to use. There was a folder full of info on the cottage and excellent tips on the local area. On our second day we were able to walk straight from the cottage out towards the Wye Valley, completing a loop along Offa's Dyke to Tintern and then back along the Wye Valley Walk. Well worth it! Lovely place to stay - you'd be daft not to book!”
