Vacation rentals with a firepit in Jackson County

The place was as pictured and described. It's in a nice country location, just down the road from the lake. It provided exactly what our group needed. The hosts were quick to respond to my question. The only downside was that they didn't provide shower gel/soap, or soap for the sinks. This was noted in their check-in instructions so we were aware, just unfortunate that we had to bring our own. Other than that one small thing, everything was great.

We LOVE Alto Cabin! Gorgeous scenery and very relaxing. The house is ADORABLE with something for everyone! Wrap around porch, game area for the kids, and an idyllic back patio, campfire seating all beautifully landscaped and decorated inside and out! We enjoyed yoga on the deck, a dip in the hot tub and games at the table (with plenty of seating for gamers which was a big reason I picked Alto Cabin). We each had our own rooms AND bathrooms which was another WIN! Saw some wildlife in the forest including deer and maybe even Big Foot?! LOVED IT!!! Thank you to our hosts for sharing this little slice of heaven!

Wonderful house and location to SIU. Weather didn't cooperate, but served its purpose!! Thank you for the hospitality and the amazing weekend that was very comfortable for our family of 10! I highly recommend this place, especially for large groups and SIU events!!

We had a wonderful stay. The house had everything we needed. It is very peaceful! We went hiking and to the wineries and Irish Festival. The Airbnb was a perfect location for all our activities. Kathy was a great host!

Great place in Murphsboro Illinois. Perfect for our family group. Lots of room!

This is a beautiful area of southern Illinois. It’s a quick drive to murphysboro and Makanda and Carbondale. Also wineries are scattered throughout the area. Also a nice little private patio, grill and fire pit. Two bedrooms, nice kitchen and one bathroom. Will definitely stay here again.

Jessica's place is exactly as advertised. The house is clean and the surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. I have stayed with Jessica many times and will continue to do so. Jessica's place is a must stay and ranked at top of my list.

This is a half way point for my grandma and I to meet up with my cousin. The place was amazing. Beautiful surroundings, pet friendly, and perfectly secluded for a peaceful getaway. Kevin was a great host and very responsive.

Tammy was fantastic and kind. The place was great for a weekend of turkey hunting and close enough to get to the city to shop and find other things to do as well. We would stay again.

The hosts were flexible, friendly, and responsive. I have never experienced better. They were flexible with an emergency last minute booking. They made my entire trip to Illinois worth it. Thank you!

Ashley and her lakefront rental were both amazing! She made check in and out so seamless and easy , place was juys wayt we needed As makanda girl I really enjoyed the peaceful private yet safe neighborhood feel a lot It was wonderful to sit on that bench and watch the sunset over the lake and was so serene Hope to stay there again sometime Ashley was great

Anna's listing was just as described. Nice place out of town. Anna was very friendly and responsive. She worked with me on entrance due to a funeral; which I greatly appreciated!

Enjoyed the stay for the weekend. Had 2 trucks one pulling a boat and one pulling 2 jet skis and had plenty of room to park. Bedroom has 4 twin size beds and one full sized bed along with a big sectional. Had pots and pans so we could cook. Nice place to stay overall would recommend to a friend

Tracy was easy to reach and very responsive and helpful w any questions. She was very hospitable but not intrusive. Her place/neighborhood felt safe. As a female traveling alone that was very notable to me.

The perfect relaxing cabin. A short drive from gorgeous wineries and a quick walk to a beautiful hiking trail where we found over 12 mushroom species. Highly recommend this host!

We had a great time & really enjoyed the cabin! The place is very nice, well kept, & super peaceful. Of course the best part was the hot tub. It was very clean, easy to use, & very relaxing! We will be back!

This was our second stay at this location and we definitely will be back. It's quiet, peaceful and the attention to detail in the house is second to none. If you are thinking of opening your own air bnb location, stay here first and see how it's done right!

We had a great time at the house. It was beautiful and clean and had all that we required . Its location is perfect , a walk h distance to the castle park which the younger kids loved and a short drive to giant city park and into town . Thanks for a great stay !

Really enjoyed Gram's cabin. So peaceful and loved the front porch. Close to wineries and state parks. We visit this area multiple times a year. Went to Bald Knob Cross of Peace and got some great night photos. We felt right at home and will come back.

The cabin was clean, secluded and very peaceful. We will stay there again when visiting family. Thank you Tom for a nice stay!

My son and I very much enjoyed our stay. Both Jill and Danny were very responsive to any of our questions, and we really loved the trail that we were able to access for our private use. The animals were so much fun to be around.

The house is exactly the way its described and more! I'm actually at a loss for words! I can't describe what an amazing location, cabin and host we had for our stay. Very clean and comfortable! It was our first rental and our host Nikki was more helpful than anyone could ask for! It's close to some great lakes, trails and only a few minutes from anything you might need during your stay. And don't feel bad if you drive by the driveway your first time by. lol
