Nostalgic and cozy living room with a unique location

The historic house shows the year 1773 painted on the walls. The house was originally located in the village's cluster and was bombed during World War II. When the farm's operating building was erected, the remnants of the house were set up as a living room next to the barn and today it appears as an intimate and cozy little house with a lot of history and soul. All facilities are, of course, completely modern. The house in the middle of the valley, down towards the fjord and innermost in Høgsfjorden, gives an unforgettable holiday in this old living room.

Jørpeland Sentrum is about 10 minutes drive away.

Benedikte's house on architect-designed Svindland farm

The Benedikte house is about 10 min drive from Egersund city center and about 5 min from E39. We have attempted to recreate the hospitality of Benedikte - the last one to stay in the old house - in this modern and completely newly built farmhouse on the outskirts of the courtyard of the Svindland farm. Here guests will find peace and idyll. On the farm there are horses, we have two dogs and a cozy peacock that runs freely. The house is very modern and well-equipped.

You will have a feeling of being “at sea”, once you enter the apartment. The second bedroom has family bunk with room for two downstairs and one person upstairs.

Slapp av på idylliske Idse. Utsikten her er magisk. Å avslutte dagen på terassen med fyr i bålpannen og å sitte i jacuzzien med utsikt utover fjorden er virkelig herlig. Hytta er moderne og bra utstyrt. God plass til 7 gjester. Kort vei til Preikestolen, Lysefjorden og Stavanger. Charming cabin with a nice view, located inland, 10 km from the centre of Lyngdal and Waterpark. The cabin is fully furnished, washing machine and dishwasher. Close to a big lake. Row-boat, kayak, fishing -gear available. Nice hiking area.
