Islam and his family's hospitality is un matched. From the moment he picked me up from the airport, to making sure I had all the comforts in my room, was fed, gave me warm clothes when I needed them and personally picking me up from my meditation retreat, I could not ask for a better host. Thank you for everything!

Eight of us went to Perch, Goalpara in Shantiniketan. A peaceful, well maintained 2 storey homestay amidst beautiful nature. Mahua is a great host and Debnarayan, Shibani and their family took great care of us. Food prepared fresh on “matir unun with kather jaal” was delicious. We plan to re visit soon!

Jyoti ji is a kind hearted and graceful lady. Her warm smile and hospitality will make you comfortable the moment you walk-in. Though she mentions she is just a housewife, she is a very talented and hardworking entrepreneur and nature lover. She manages the place alone and is involved in every little thing during the stay. The cook makes very nice and simple food. Infact it was the best I had in my road trip from Delhi to Odisha. I travelled with my dog and he just loved roaming freely and checking out the green place. The place is green, peaceful and warm with amazing people. It was a tough journey for us since we were relocating between states and crossed 5 states in between. Once we reached her place, we felt welcomed, got good food and were cared for like we were family. You must visit this farm and meet Jyoti ji. The stay here will be memorable!

During my recent trip to Shantiniketan, I had the pleasure of staying at this stunning place and I must say, it was one of the best hospitality experiences I’ve ever had. The property is absolutely beautiful, with a serene ambiance, tasteful interiors, and ample open space that instantly makes you feel at peace. The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully furnished, making it a perfect getaway for families, friends, and even solo female travelers looking for a safe and cozy retreat. What truly made my stay unforgettable was the incredible hospitality of Bapi Da, the caretaker. He went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable, well-fed, and had everything I needed. His warmth and kindness made me feel like I was visiting a relative rather than staying at a rental. Whether it was arranging home-cooked meals or assisting with local sightseeing. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with top-notch hospitality, this is the place to be.

One of the best place if you want to stay without chaos, want to enjoy nature, want to feel homely away from home at Bolpur. Attendant Marry Mardi is a super cook. We just handed over all materials to her and she cooked the food as we wanted and taste was too good. As a host Subrata is very gentle qnd friendly in nature. He is reachavle over phone for any issue or assistance.

It’s a rare find and a perfect nature escape, full of lush greeneries, Flora and fauna, breathtaking views of the hills. Asan bani is a hidden gem which is underrated I feel. Management and stuff is super friendly and cooperative, As a couple privacy was our priority although it was met I would like to mention it’s not a independent farm house or bed and breakfast it’s an resort. Even thought it was a resort it felt great as we got all the help we needed to have a great vacation. We would surely be visiting this place with more to explore.

I am happy i chose Senamura for my stay . very friendly hosts. Great food. clean common room and dining area. I got a chance to attend meditation sessions . Very friendly people and staff. easy to find and reach. Spiritual Ambience all around.

Akash’ place is absolutely fantastic . It’s very well designed, rustic yet modern, very green and tranquil . Akash is a great host, very friendly, we had a great conversation sitting in the garden while he made us breakfast and coffee. Originally we had planned to stay one night, but we liked the place so we decided to stay one more. In addition it is also pet friendly and my dogs were very comfortable and happy at Shantidevi Ashram.
