“Aslaug's house is very nicely decorated, practical and comfortable. The kitchen is perfectly equipped. Since the stay we see the lake. There are many ballads to do around, we recommend the one that leads to Lake Gjesdalsstolyen but there are plenty more to do. We had a great stay in the "cabin" of Aslaug, in short we highly recommend this place.”
The cottage is beautifully situated overlooking the Jølstra Lake. The nature invites you to wonderful mountain walks, fishing opportunities, cross country and alpine skiing, rafting, and golf . The cottage area is a quiet family friendly cottage area
“What a find this place is! We enjoyed a 3 night break in Erik and Therese’s beautifully appointed, secluded cabin with our two boys of 10 and 6. We wished we had booked longer. The cabin is well equipped, cosy, clean and beautifully furnished. The outdoor space, pool and hot tub were fantastic and well looked after. The viewpoint from the cabin onto the lake with the mountains framed around is mesmeric and constantly changing. Erik was a great host, and very responsive throughout our stay. And the directions sent to locate the cabin were excellent. There’s lots to do in the area and we really enjoyed the Glacier museum at Fjaerland, the Boyabreen glacier and a drive to Balestrand through the Gaularfjellet which was breathtaking. All were within 2 hours of the cabin. We’d love to come back to the cabin someday and explore the places we didn’t get chance to do!”
