Vacation rentals in Juelsminde

We had a great time at Ole and Charlottes place. We especially enjoyed the wonderful and enormous garden, where our 18 month old daughter could walk around freely and play in the grass. The house is beautifully decorated (we had to moves some things to higher levels though, as it’s not fully childproof) and although it’s an old building, it has everything you need for a pleasant stay. The bed was a bit soft to our liking, but that’s just personal preference. The only thing that would make everything even better would be a hottub somewhere in the garden (especially because the bathroom doesn’t have a bathtub) but you should always have something to wish for right ;) Ole and Charlotte were on vacation themselves so we didn’t actually meet them, but communication beforehand was good. They sent us a list of recommendations for things to do and where to shop. And even from their holiday destination they responded to our messages (with some delay, but that’s to be expected). Thanks!

Vi har virkelig følt oss velkommen her. Vi hadde 3 fantastiske uker i Hedensted😊Huset var så fint og hjemmekoselig😊 Kjempefint uteområde med mange fasiliter, som var enkelt og holde i orden. Det hadde alt man trenger på ferie med barn. Det var supert med flere sittegrupper, solsenger, hengekøye og grill. Der fantes varierte uteleker for barn. Uteområde lå skjermet til, men samtidig med god oversikt fra kjøkkenet så man kan lage mat, mens barna leker. Der fantes sykkel så vi kunne sykle til butikken like ved, utrolig praktisk så man slipper og ta med hjemmefra😊 Huset har bedre senger enn på hotell👍 Cozy cafe lå like ved med god mat, spill, tepper og trampoline. Har man bursdag, spiser man gratis der😊 Hyggelige naboer og nabolag😊 I nærheten ligger kjøpesenter i Vejle med 2 t gratis parkering. 30 min unna med bil fant vi Juelsminde med super sandstrand, cafeer ved havnen med kjempegod mat og en stor lekeplass! Kommunikasjonen med husverten var utrolig hyggelig fra start til slutt😊

Wir haben sehr schöne Tage in der Unterkunft verbracht und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist gemütlich und mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Für uns war es auch kein Problem, dass wir Bettwäsche und Handtücher mitbringen mussten. Der Blick auf das Wasser sowie der private Strandzugang sind einzigartig. Wer ein paar erholsame Tage ohne viel Trubel und mit vielen schönen Strandspaziergängen verbringen möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Wir waren sehr zufrieden! :)

Flott hus for barnefamilier med stort uteområde. Kort vei inn til Horsens, som for øvrig er en veldig trivelig by, og kort vei til fin strand. Dan responderer raskt på spørsmål.

It was perfect. The house looks just like in the pictures. Camilla is a great host, she welcomed us personally and was extremely helpful, she literally made us feel like home. A fully equipped kitchen was the biggest treat. Adding some Indian spices keeping us in mind was a very sweet touch, we really enjoyed cooking. The house is right next to the lake and Camilla was kind enough to offer us free kayaks. She was very quick is responding to all our queries about the surrounding areas. The lake is very clean so perfect to swim. It is walkable from a huge supermarket, restaurants and the center of the city. Best place to stay for a beautiful, peaceful holiday. I would highly recommend it for all age groups.

Mycket trevligt hus med stora ytor. Fint och rent. Härligt trädgård om man är där på sommaren.

Atmosfæren blev skabt af værtsparret venlighed. Haven deles og det blev et plus for vores familie, der fik glæde af deres gæstfrihed og mulighed for at lege og være i haven uden restriktioner og regler. Vi nød det lille hus og de rolige omgiver med cykelafstand til alt.

Laura was as friendly and accommodating as can be. She responded to our numerous questions reasonably swiftly and with great detail. We did not have a car, so we opted to rent a ebike in Ballen Havn, which is about 15-20 minutes on foot from the ferry port. On bike, it will take about 5-10 minutes more to reach the cabin. However you get there, you will be constantly greeted with some of the most picturesque views in Denmark. Take your time! The quaint and cozy cabin had more than everything we needed. It was clutter-free and reasonably clean. Surrounded by farmland. The nearest houses were about 200m away, so you can be assured of privacy. We had no trouble sleeping in the comfortable bed and with the absolutely quiet environment. Overall, we feel that our unique experience in Samsø would not have been complete without our lovely host Laura and her comfy cabin. Thank you! <3
