Family-friendly vacation rentals in Julian

This home was perfect for our intergenerational family gathering. There was space (and enough bathrooms) to accommodate all of us without being in each other's way but also being able to gather in our larger family group when needed. The location with views of the mountains was relaxing and reenergizing for the holiday with family members coming from all over. Although there were various spaces throughout the house, the kitchen area was a definite gathering space and accommodated well for people to be together and doing different things: cooking and preparing a meal, sitting and chatting, working on a laptop, reading in the family room not too far away. I appreciated the communication prior, throughout, and after our stay.

Lisa and Sam were great hosts! Easy to communicate with and helpful with local tips, answering questions, and providing clear and easy directions to the airbnb. It was a great spot right out of town - was super super peaceful. Beds and couch were super comfy. Kitchen and bathroom were well stocked for everything you could need. Was a perfect mini getaway. Would definitely recommend and rebook the spot!

The cottage is absolutely beautiful. Richard is the best host. You can tell he puts a lot of effort into creating a perfect experience for his guests. He gave clear instructions on how to get there, how to operate everything and where everything is located in the home. Everything was fully functional and the home is beautifully decorated and so cozy. It has everything you need, truly a dream Airbnb. Also, less than a 5 min drive away from Main St. which was incredible.

The photos don’t do this place justice. The home was so comfortable - it had everything we needed. The yard is massive and the dogs enjoyed running around. The games in the garage and the barn were so entertaining and it kept my family and I busy. The beds are extremely comfortable and Courtney left us a small welcome tray which was incredibly thoughtful. Communication was great. Courtney is a fantastic host. We LOVED our time in her home and we made some very special memories. We can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful house very well stocked kitchen, and very convenient to vineyards and removed enough from the busy city center. We loved our stay. Just know that most of the beds are queens not Kings but easily fit our family of 10.

Had a very relaxing time at the house. The views are incredible. Especially stargazing at night. The house was very spacious with tons of character.

The authentic vintage vibe of this cabin was exactly what we were looking for for our weekend getaway. The hosts were extremely helpful, kind, and accommodating. Highly recommend this cabin if you’re looking to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of life and relax and reconnect with how life really should be. We absolutely would stay here again ❤️

We absolutely love this cottage. As regulars to Julian, this is one of our favorites! Cris is so incredibly welcoming and makes everything so special. The space is small, but it works! We are a family of 4.. cooked dinner in most nights, hung out on the porch and in the back yard. Enjoyed the quiet time together. Can't wait to be back!

My wife and I loved our stay at the Granny Flat! This place is perfect for young families looking to be a little outside of San Diego! Quick drive to hit everything you want to see. Kristen goes above and beyond with what she provides for young children. A smooth stay for us and our 7 month old. Most AirBnBs are not like that! Absolutely staying here next time we visit!

Our August stay in San Diego was truly unforgettable, thanks in large part to our fantastic Airbnb host. From the moment we booked, they were incredibly responsive and helpful. When a small issue arose early in our stay, they were quick to address it, demonstrating their commitment to guest satisfaction. The house itself was a gem, beautifully maintained and in a prime location. We loved exploring the neighborhood and being within easy reach of all the city’s attractions. We can’t thank our host enough for making our trip so enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again!

This a sweet place, even better than expected. I loved the privacy of the suite. Ann made getting in easy all instructions needed. Everything was very clean, amenities needed, very comfortable. The private patio was a very nice bonus. Highly recommend if staying in the area

Lovely place - complete privacy in the studio, space to park your car, easy to check in, beautiful garden area, and awesome location that was close to everything. Hosts were also great and very responsive. Would be happy to stay here again!

The place is an easy drive to amenities, including state park trails. We were there when the weather was extremely windy so we were not able to Enjoy the outdoor tables or front porch, but they looked they would have been a wonderful place to drink coffee. It was a good location for visiting the park.

Sharon is a great host. She was always watchful that we had everything we needed and made us feel right at home. House is amazing. Pictures dont fully describe how beautiful the house is. Full kitchen utensils. Bedrooms, Bathroom, everything complete like if you were home. Amazing outdoor area to excercise, spend time at the pool, jacuzzi, even working/reading. Great bbq area, awesome grill. Lots of pool and beach toys! Dont think twice about renting this place! Cant wait to go back next holidays.

We had a great stay here for our birthday celebrations. Very close to all of the wineries we wanted to visit and beautiful views. I appreciate the late checkout option since most of my guests slept in due to the time change. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home!

We had a great time at Charles's place in Borrego Springs. It's nestled right underneath the picturesque mountains, located within the De Anza Country Club area. Beautiful scenery and lovely local flora. Charles was super communicative throughout our stay and we didn't have any issues. The house was well-equipped with kitchen and pool gear, and we had such a nice time relaxing on the back patio by the pool.

We had a great weekend stay at this beautiful property! The pool/spa and backyard with view was amazing. The house has a ton of amenities including bbq, full kitchen, spices, entertainment center And indoor/outdoor speakers. Owner was very communicative and sent out a pool repair person to assist with our spa heating issue, which was promptly fixed. There are house and city guidelines to be aware of, so make sure you read all house information that is provided. Overall a wonderful property!

Best place to stay for large families. We were in San Diego after a family ski trip and if you ask any of the 8 kids, Rebecca's house was one of the highlights of the whole vacation. They loved the house so much that didn't wanted to go out to any of the plans in San Diego. The house may seem a little far from the usual attractions but it was easy getting there, no more than 30 minutes to every place we wanted to go. We definitely will go back next year.

Michelle and Gary were perfect host! I stayed here for 6 days while doing a certification course with the Chek Institute. The property felt like a private resort and I enjoyed the peace and quiet atmosphere. I had really restful sleep. I stayed in the beach house and it was had everything I needed and more. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks again for the great experience!

Beautiful, clean home. Views from the yard were breathtaking. Loved the fruit trees on the property. Close to several wineries.
