Monthly Rentals in Kaibab National Forest

A serene, secluded area and a completely unique experience sleeping under the stars. It’s well-located for access to the Grand Canyon, and despite feeling very remote has nearby access to restaurants and convenience stores. A word of advice: Be sure to read every word of the description. The hosts accurately describe the experience, but definitely know that you’re signing up for an experience that is closer to camping than a hotel or typical AirBnb. As long as you’re well-informed, you’ll have a great time. We would recommend it, and we will be back.

After a long day of hiking at the Grand Canyon, this Airbnb was the perfect retreat! The house has everything you need with brand-new amenities. The hot tub was super relaxing/private and well lit at night with the outdoor string lights. Onsite laundry is a huge positive. The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked with spices, pots/pans, etc. The house is private and surrounded by trees. Stargazing at night is a MUST! There are neighbors close by, and we experienced some elevated noise from one of them. Jeep and Stacy were quick to respond and reach out to another neighbor to assess; we appreciated their attention and quick response. Would recommend these hosts and this home, especially to hikers going to Grand Canyon (which is less than 60 minutes away!)

Beautiful spacious cabin in the desert! We had a wonderful time and will absolutely return! Close to the Grand Canyon and beautiful location. The cabin had a kitchen complete with everything you needed. We enjoyed the selection of DVDs and the wood burning fireplace. Friendly host and memories we will have for a life time.

Camp Gnaw was one of my favorite places to stay ever. The cabin was adorable and cozy. It had everything we needed while we were there-a well stocked kitchen (thank you for the s’mores supplies, tea and coffee!), comfy bedrooms, a fire pit, a telescope, a fantastic shower, slippers and more. It was close to so many beautiful natural forests and parks. We were able to see the Grand Canyon, Meteor Crater, Walnut Canyon, Flagstaff, Williams and the Petrified Forest in three days. I love how we were in a quiet and remote area yet a quick 10 minute drive to town. Helen is a great host, so communicative and pleasant to work with. She also provided suggestions on what to do during our stay. We will be back for sure!
