Monthly Rentals in Kalapana

Criss' place was absolutely adorable and just what we needed during our trip! It had a charming, rustic feel and was nestled in a peaceful subdivision, giving us plenty of privacy. We loved that it was only a 2.5-mile walk or run to the stunning Kehena Beach, where we spent most of our time. Keep in mind, you'll need a car to get to the property. They're currently building a new cabin on-site, which we're excited to see in the future!

Can’t say enough good things about Ginger and her place. To start, Ginger was a very proactive and responsive host. She made us feel right at home as soon as we arrived, gave us a tour of the place, and recommended a lot of great places on the island. As for the place, you can’t beat the price! It is a little far out, especially if you don’t have a rental car, but the area and nice and private, and the stars light up the sky at night. Ginger provides us with all the amenities we needed for our stay, along with clear instructions for both check in and check out. Thank you again for hosting us Ginger, we can’t wait to return!

This is our second time staying at Ohana House, and we absolutely love it! The quiet, secluded location feels like our little slice of paradise. On our way there, we usually stop by the local grocery store to pick up some snacks, and we’ve always found the kitchen to be nicely stocked with essentials. The place was spotless when we arrived, which is always a nice touch! One of our favorite things to do is relax on the lanai while taking in the view of the vast lava field. It’s such a peaceful setting that really allows us to reflect and appreciate our time there. I even picked up a copy of Jade’s book to read while lounging on the lanai, and I can’t recommend it enough—absolutely loved it! We’d definitely stay here again! Being away from the hustle and bustle is such a big plus for us. We truly cherished this experience!

Absolutely breathtaking! From the moment we arrived, I was completely in awe of how beautiful this place was. The photos provided were beautiful however they honestly don’t do it justice—every corner felt like a dream. The views were absolutely stunning, the atmosphere was peaceful, and there was so much care and charm in every little detail. I felt so happy and at ease the entire time—it was the kind of stay that fills your soul. I truly fell in love with this place and didn’t want to leave. My son loved it just as much—he had the best time exploring! He especially loved the walk on the amazing terrain to the edge where we could stand and take in the most impressive, breathtaking view of the sea. It felt like we had stumbled onto something magical. This was more than just a stay—it was an unforgettable experience. If you’re looking for a place that brings pure joy, beauty, and peace, this is it. We can’t wait to come back!
