“A very warm welcome for me and my friends. We were a large group of 8 and although it was a bit tight for all of us, it was an amazing experience staying at the very cozy house. The village is beautiful and calm and peacefull, in a great location to explore the eastern part of the island where we found even less tourists and more locals than in the western part. I recommend Pantelis's place to everyone, as his mother was very friendly, as she guided us around the island and made us the most deliscious cake! Thank you to Pantelis and his family.”
We offer our home to travellers wanting to discover the beauty of Limnos. It is located in a lovely area of the village "Kalliopi", the closest to the famous beach of "Keros" & the well-known Surf Clubs.
“We spent two fantastic weeks in Dimitris and Stavrula's house. The house is amazing - a renovated old stone village house, very comfortable, well equipped. It has everything you need, it is spacious, convenient, clean, bright, made with taste. We had week change of bedlinen, towels and cleaning. There is a nice garden with flowers and a place to sit aenjoy listening to birds songs. The house is located in the center of Kalliopy village - very quiet and rural place, you do not hear any noise of cars and vehicles. Dimitris is the perfect host: you receive the answers of your messages almost immediately and he is absolutely helpful. He and his aunt Maroula (the lady that met us when we arrived late in the evening) did their best to make our stay perfect. I highly recommend this house, village and island to experience a taste of 'real' Greece.”
Overlooking beautiful Havouli beach, this farmhouse built of stone and wood, is an Ideal retreat for those who want to relax and enioy the sun and the sea away from the crowds and the noise Play with the dogs milk the goats feed the chickens! The beach is very close, about a 2 minute drive or a 10 minute walk, and the village of Moudros, with a population of about 1000 people is 4 kilometres away or a 7 minute drive on a partly dirt road
“Our experience in Lemnos was complete and full of positive energy. Chris is an amazing host and we felt like home and being part of the island spirit, where local people are friendly and relaxed. No money can buy the privilege to meet such a person full of generosity, fun and wise like Chris. You have to be there and embrace the experience. You will be conquered by the Limnos spirit, where it is very common to see neighbors talking with each other in the middle of the road with the joy and the sense of being part of a special community. Limnos is not an ordinary Greek island. On top of great beaches for families with kids, amazing food, historical places and very good prices, you will find that a vacation can be more than some free days out of work, but an experience which can charge you with the feeling of understanding the life in a more different and back to the roots way. His house is perfect for families with kids (we were 2 families - 4 adults and 4 kids) that are looking for "back to nature"/country side experience and disconnecting from the busy, cosmopolitan city life. The kids and we all, actually :) loved the interaction with the house animals: the baby goat, the loving dogs and cats, the chickens and also the animals living around the area: the pheasants, the rabbits, hedgehogs, the turtles... This traditional Greek house is perfectly located near the quiet and relaxing Havouli beach, on the hill, with only a few houses around, being a perfect place for the kids playing free and the parents to be relaxed and forget that they are having the kids with them :). Most of all, we left with the great feeling of an experience beyond an ordinary vacation and with the will and determination of coming back as soon as possible. The most touching conclusion was the image of our kids tears in our cars when we had to come back. They simply demanded us to move to Chris house for ever...”
