We had a magical stay at Patrizia and Gigi’s. Thanks to them we lived a very special experience in an absolute breathtaking location. The house is extremely clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. All the amenities and outdoor spaces are really nice. The hosts were very friendly, proactive and accommodating, yet we still enjoyed a lot of privacy and quiet.

Perfect little cocoon of tranquility on the edge of the forest and a few meters from a river. Beautiful setting and top amenities ( dishwasher, large shower on the ground floor and small on the upstairs). in short, go without a second thought ☺️

Olivier’s little hut in the mountains is stunning – beautiful work of architecture, located in yet beautiful location, amidst the mountains. It offers, calm, peace, and a lovely refuge to appreciate the surroundings. Would definitely come back!

We had a great stay at Renata's chalet. The house is lovely, very very clean, everything seems new and is well kept. It was cozy and warm. Views from the balcony are fantastic. The house fits well 5 people, 2 in the top bedroom, 1 in the single room, and 2 on the couch in the living room. The location worked out perfectly for us. The house is about half way between the ski resorts of Macugnaga and Domobianca. The first day we went to Macugnaga, which is a lovely town but had icy slopes on that specific time. The next day we opted then for Domobianca, which had instead beautiful snow at that time. All in all, a beautiful stay - great also for those that like walking in nature rather than skiing (there are paths starting right from the house). Also worth mentioning a great restaurant that makes excellent pizza 10 minutes away by car, called "Concordia".

Great experience, a weekend we'll remember! Very helpful and friendly hosts, we really enjoyed ourselves. The luck of having found a fantastic climate and sunny days allowed us to fully experience the outdoor environment with its colors and sensations. The house is very nice and comfortable, nothing is missing, we really appreciated the passion put into the details of the construction, you can feel the commitment and love for these places. We enjoyed our week at Chalet La balma together with our dog Elvis. You can walk beautifully from the chalet. The chalet is super in order, cozy and nice and warm. We didn't meet Marco but he's a very responsive host and we were welcomed by a sweet lady from the village. Upon arrival were pampered with wine, and many local treats. What a treat. We hope to come back to this special place!

A beautiful cabin located in a beautiful setting. The place is rustic but full of every comfort. An important tip for those who go to Alpe Devero for the first time: explore well with the host how parking works, being a very popular place in all seasons.

The place is wonderful in all aspects. Fortunately, we have tire chains and are experienced with driving on small mountain roads in the winter. So, we could make the 15 minute climb/decent from/to Varzo village. We somehow assumed, and perhaps missed the communication that the cabin is not in Varzo. It is in a very peaceful and beautiful alpine area above Varzo. The Internet did not work, which was a blessing -- as the location beckoned peace and enjoyment of creation, not screens.

The listing is as described. It is beautifully quiet in the mountains. Our dog also loved it. With a dog, it should be noted that the garden up to the forest has no fence and also like to run deer through the garden 😊 The communication with Laura was very good and friendly. The house is in a perfect, quiet location, close to many walks, on foot you can reach many really nice places like the horrors. The interior of the house, all made of wood, is very nice. If you love tranquility, it is the perfect place. I needed Alberto for information and he was ready and accurate. We had a quiet and very relaxing vacation. Highly recommended.

We had a great time at the Diro chalet. The kids played with the snow in the small patch of grass in front of the house, skied to and from Valtournenche cable car and had plenty of fun with the Wii. We found the chalet had a very practical design, with a wet area and ski box to leave skying going ar and boots coming back from a young walk. Local restaurants, supermarkets and shops are a 10 minutes walk away. The chalet had a beautiful spot in the corner of the lounge where my husband used to sit and read a book in the morning sun, enjoying the view across the valley and river. Beautiful place, cabin equipped beyond expectations; groceries for bread, cold cuts and other needs just below, restaurant always close to family management very good and managed by courteous and helpful people. Owner always interested and available despite not being able to meet in person 🔝🔝🔝

The location was absolutely stunning—peaceful, serene, and completely free of tourists, making it the perfect escape for me, my wife, and our toddler. The cabin was clean, warm, and had a wonderful rustic charm, with a wood-fired oven that added so much coziness to our stay. It’s a simple and comfortable setup, ideal for those looking to unwind and reconnect with nature without the distractions of luxury. A special thanks to our host, Massimo, who went above and beyond to take care of us. He was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and ensured that we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The beautiful surroundings and tranquil atmosphere made this one of the most memorable trips we’ve ever had. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone seeking a peaceful getaway. We’ll definitely be returning!

Independent house in the woods, it was difficult to reach with luggage because you have to leave the car in a pitch and do about 150m uphill "dirt", of which we had been notified but we had underestimated the effort with children and trolley. The house is well cared for and full of all the necessary amenities. Very warm and clean, the experience of the stay was beautiful, we had fun and we were a 15-minute drive from Macugnaga and her ski slopes. The fireplace and also the outdoor spaces of the house are very nice for a nice barbecue. Thoughtful and tidy bathroom, clean rooms and linens! I remind everyone that it is a mountain house in the woods, with the qualities and faults of the case. Riccardo was kind and helpful and always responded to everything and right away. Recommended for groups of friends or families! "Light" or off-road matches;)
