There is really no greater heaven on earth than this jewel of a cabin tucked away in the mountains. The rock pools, the endless walking trails and paths that can get you lost for days. What an incredible slice of paradise and worth more than just two days! Could have stayed forever. As a female solo traveler it was so safe and I felt well looked after. Loved it

Malcolm and Ali were great hosts, going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. It is a beautiful home in a great location and I would recommend it to anyone!

This little cottage was absolutely perfect! While we were a little concerned at first that it was so close to the highway, you actually don't even notice it once you are wrapped in the nature and charm of Bushmans Pillow. We loved the nightly campfires with the mountain view in the background, the stargazing, and the fact that there is so much to see and explore with a short drive down the road. Carla and Daniel were super accommodating and the communication was excellent. Would 100% recommend this to any other travelers looking for a little forest getaway. It has all the comforts of home to the point that we never wanted to leave!!

Bishop's Cove is a place where you feel like you are at the end of the world. After a beautiful drive alongside the Tsitsikamma forest, you turn off onto the farm road which takes you to the cottages. Perched between the fields, forests, and cliffs overlooking the sea, you really do feel like you are at the edge of the world. I stayed here for 2 days after a road trip through the western cape and this was the perfect place to reflect on my experiences and recharge before the long drive back home. I will definitely be back for a longer stay at this piece of paradise

Awesome view from the property not far to walk to the beach area. Comfortable, neat and clean. Well equipped and spacious. Can recommend without a doubt. I will book again.

We are so blessed and thankful for this weekend away! My husband and I enjoyed staying at Bushbuck eco retreat. This was so relaxing, beautiful and peaceful. The people welcomed us with open arms and you can see they have so much love to give. We appreciate people like this because you want to feel at home. We went kayaking and fishing at this peaceful place. Next time we will do the hiking with the kayaking. The place was so spot on with our own view and don't forget our own fire wood bath outside. What more can we dream off. Oh and don't forget about the braai part. That was also nice🙂 We are grateful to lend your place for the weekend and thank you for being such awesome people. So much love!

We booked on very short notice and Suenette was very quick to respond and assist us. She made sure everything was ready for us and was always ready to assist. An absolutely wonderful experience with a lovely host! We would definitely recommend to friends and family.

The setting of this home is magnificent. If you’re looking for somewhere close enough to the town but without the hustle and bustle of St Francis, this is it.
