It was our third time visit to the property and our family of five and a dog enjoyed a relaxing stay. We enjoyed the swimming and boating and kids fished off the dock. Alex was very responsive to our questions and solved a microwave issue the same day.

Michael and Margaret are great hosts. We head up to their place every winter now for a little cottage country escape. They are super responsive and helpful. Their place is warm, cozy, and has a great hot tub under the stars (and under the snow if you’re lucky). We’ll be back again!

Absolutely beautiful, just as we remembered from last year. All amenities still in like new condition. Lots to do. Property landscaped and kept pristine. Cottage cozy and private. Fishing and swimming, kayaking. The perfect getaway.

My husband and I stayed here in the midst of an absolutely gorgeous fall weekend. We could not have gotten any luckier with the weather or the view of the forest, it was exactly what we were hoping for. Kristin, Chris and Charlie were welcoming and kept to themselves. They put out extra firewood in a wheelbarrow so it was easily accessible for us. Their property was absolutely gorgeous and exactly as the photos on the listing. The bed was so comfortable, both my husband and I had 2 great nights sleep and slept in. The hot tub was spacious and so enjoyable, I believe we were in and out at least 6 times. The instructions for the toilet and the rest of the cabin were easy to follow and we ran into 0 issues. We will certainly be back, if Kristin and Chris will have us 😊👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We had a great time at Kate’s place. The cabin is thoughtfully decorated and had everything we needed. The hot tub and sauna were a perfect way to relax and unwind, especially in the snow. Kate was super responsive, helpful, and friendly. We’ll definitely be back!

very beautiful place. a but small inside for 8 people max, but it was doable in terms of the one bathroom (it's smaller than we assumed). the best part about it was the location and the nature, access to the lake with kayak, canoes, and paddleboard. The balcony is beautiful, it was really lovely to wake up early in the morning. I would definitely come back here again!

Great cute place. We enjoyed the stay. Just as listed and nothing missing. Clean and well maintained. Everything working and nothing broken or out of order. Host's commuting is great as well. Is it worth the price? Not really. For this price you could book a place with lake access, kayaks and boats, outdoor BBQ grill, modern plumbing and conveniences and many more. The 2 major concerns were the composting toilet and no AC. A two night stay will be disgusting with the composting toilet as you can't flush it and I can't even imagine staying here in the summer because there is no AC. The bed is up in the loft and near the roof and remember, heat rises up. So a big no no for summer. We enjoyed the wood fired sauna and the outdoor firepit and it'll be even great if firewood was provided. But no complaints on that. The location is great but you can here the vehicles on the road and that affects the quietness of the place. Other than that, a great place to stay.

My stay here was nothing short of perfect, Debbie made us feel right at home and brought us farm fresh eggs when we arrived. The place was clean and beautiful and getting to see the cows was a bonus! We will definitely be back! -Maddie and Ryan

Richard was super friendly, answered my questions quickly, thoroughly and respectfully. I’m quite directionally challenged so it was a bit tricky to find the tiny home but when I pulled over and reached out for clarification, Richard was right there to guide me. I will absolutely recommend this spot for anyone looking for a quiet getaway or even somewhere to work from.. there is a lovely little work nook. I look forward to coming back soon!

Stayed here over the long weekend with my partner and had the best time. The cabin is super cozy and well-kept, with a great hot tub, fire pit, and BBQ setup. We spent our days on the nearby trail and our nights by the fire or in the hot tub. Peaceful, private, and just what we needed. Would definitely come back.

My boyfriend and I came here for the weekend to enjoy some quiet relaxation. We found the place without issues, and all the instructions provided were clear and accurate. The place was spotless! Which was a bit surprising because it’s a cabin in the woods! We had a wonderful stay. The space was perfect, cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed, including enough firewood to keep the stove going. We were plenty warm. It was a bit muddy this weekend so we didn’t explore any trails, but walking down the road was peaceful and we ever saw some deer! Eventhough there are neighbours on both sides, it felt private because the huge main window looks out onto the beautiful creek. We watched ducks, and birds and even saw a ?martin running around! Very cute. We pre made a few meals and used the propane cook top to heat them up. The outhouse was only a few steps away, but far enough to have a little extra privacy. We would definitely stay again :)

Woodrush tiny cabin in Kirkfield surpassed our expectations. It was extremely clean, organized and had everything you needed for a relaxing getaway. It was super adorable!!!! The site was perfectly situated in a private secluded area, with spectacular views from the tiny cabin. The quarry lake was refreshing and super clean! The co-host Emily was attentive and kind. The pictures and descriptions both on Airbnb and on the website were on-point! If you're looking for a private getaway, this is the place! Thanks for having us and look forward to experiencing your many other cabinscape locations!

The place was more than what we had expected. Everyone in the community was nice and welcoming. The place had different types of activities so you are never bored. This is definetly a place my friends and I want to come to again in the future.

This past week, my family and I had the pleasure of staying at Nasfia’s Airbnb for the second time. We returned because our first experience was so wonderful, and this visit was just as delightful. The location is amazing, right at the mouth of lock 35 on the Trent, which means there's a built-in entertainment watching the boats slowly drive-by. The property is set up with a fantastic dock for swimming, a nice fire pit, and even a little beach where our kids had endless fun playing just outside the front door. They particularly loved the Lillypad. You can rent boats on this lake and tie them up at the dock and Balsam Lake perfect for exploring. The property is just a short drive into town, which offers a variety of food options and delicious ice cream. Nasfia's Airbnb is the most well-appointed and organized place we've stayed in Ontario, and I've stayed at many. Her attention to detail is impeccable, ensuring guests have everything they would ever need. We will be back!

This Air bnb is one of the best I have stayed at thus far, was a perfect weekend for me and my friend to get away :)

It was great staying at Lisa’s place. She was a great host and provided us with all the things needed. She lived with her family close to the lake house with that we were given full privacy for ourself and we enjoyed our stay extremely. She also accommodated our request for extended checkout and she was very accommodating with all the things needed. Overall it is amazing location with great peaceful surroundings and best sunset view over the lake. I highly recommend this place for future stay.
