Welcome to Riverside Cabins, located on the scenic Allegheny River in West Hickory, Forest County, PA. Cabin 1 sleeps 3-4 people. Cabins has A/C , microwave and a mini refrigerator. Outside is a picnic table and fire ring. Both cabins share a modern bathhouse with a shower, sink, and toilet. You can walk down to the river or walk across the road to the Sportsman Bar for food and drink.
What guests are saying:“If you don't have service through verizon, you're going to need to actually go up and knock on the door of the host's house right beside the cabins because you probably will have spotty service or none at all, but otherwise, check in was super easy. You're at the mercy of how clean or not clean the people in the other cabin choose to be as far as the bathroom situation goes, but the host was really great about cleaning after the other cabin's guests checked out. Another thing to know is the hosts provide firewood, which is super nice. There would be plenty places in the area to get it though, if you needed more. Also, if you're looking for a place to go kayaking or a place to order food from, they put some info in a drawer next to the mini fridge. The cabin was beautiful and included both a ceiling fan and a window A/C unit, which was wonderful. Bring a lantern or a cell phone light when traveling from the cabin to the bathroom in the dark, because there is a dog that walks around off-leash with one of the people that take care of the place, and there were some presents that got left behind on the grass near the cabin Over all, this is a beautiful place in a gorgeous location and this listing is a great deal for a fun outdoorsy getaway.”

Two acres of beautiful grounds with seasonal gardens, private trails in the woods, fire ring, and the world's greatest front porch and patio running the length of the house. Truly a special place with a relaxed pace!

My girlfriend and I decided just a few days before Christmas to spend the holiday here. It was decorated to perfection, and Ted even left us a christmas card, wine, and some sweets. Perfect for me, as I love wine and sweets. The home comes with a fully equipped kitchen. I mean FULLY. It has EVERYTHING. We prepared christmas and christmas eve feasts, it was amazing. The homey touches and decorations really make this place. The board games, the books, the dvds. We took full advantage of all of these leisure activities. We wanted to get away and clear our heads and relax... and I can honestly say... I never had such a great time doing nothing!”
