“TOTALLY AMAZING – one of our BEST vacations EVER. The house is beautiful, modern and very clean inside and outside. There were some cleanliness issues but, the owner was very professional about it. He explained, apologized, and took ownership of the problem, and I’m confident that those issues will never be overlooked again. We were happy to see that the house looks exactly like the beautiful photos of the listing. What you see is honestly what you get. The house is very well equipped. We were pleasantly surprised by all the amenities. The owners really thought of everything. You only need to bring your clothes, toiletries, and food. This listing is pet friendly. The property is secure and we felt safe bringing our cat along. The only potential problems are 1) a gap under the gate and 2) an outdoor staircase right next to the boundary wall. One of best things about this house is that the owners don’t bother you. We were showed around and then they left us alone. Even when we asked for additional items, it was delivered quickly by being left at the gate - they did not even bother us by ringing the bell. 😊 Unfortunately, their daughter did spoil this plus-point on our second last day when she arrived unannounced to show the outside area to prospective guests (and scared off our cat in the process). We were quite annoyed by this. The pool area is fantastic with a sparkling clean pool, outdoor shower for before you swim, excellent BBQ, beautiful garden, shaded tables and chairs, a super comfortable semi-enclosed lounge area, and even pool toys. The whole house is extremely well maintained. The house is set in a quiet village. There is a communal park, swimming pool, and gym right across from the house but we did not hear any noise coming from there either. The inside of the house is quite cool. You’re able to open doors and windows (which are all fitted with insect screens) on all four sides. Air flows through the house nicely and we only used the aircon in our bedroom while we slept and another in the living room while we watched Netflix. There’s a huge TV in the living room but unfortunately, it does not have Netflix as advertised. Again, the owners apologized and tried their best to get it working. We told them not to worry about it as were able to cast Netflix from our computer – although the video size is much smaller than the TV’s screen size and the media did not play very smoothly. We love Netflix and this was important for us, so is it is important to you too then perhaps check with the owners first if this problem has been fixed if they still do advertise that the TV has Netflix. Some great features are: A large fridge (clean and odor-free) in the kitchen, plenty of cutlery and crockery, even all the knives are super sharp, great wifi bandwith and signal strength throughout the property, spacious yard, big TV in the living room and smaller TVs in every bedroom, large and comfortable sofa, mosquito repellent for outside, coffee supplies, some spices, plenty of soap, clean towels in good condition, and even stylish Christmas lights. 😊 We only met Jo, and their daughter. They were super friendly and extremely helpful. Jo is a great guy. He is very understanding and polite. He helped us a lot with information regarding places to go to, and we found him to be very professional and accepting. We feel that we made a new friend. We’re very happy to put our stamp of approval on this property and we’d love to return one day soon.”
