Chalet vacation rentals in Kingsdown

Cosy and well equipped chalet perfect for a family stay, great location near the beach and lovely seafront pub. The chalet is walking distance to plenty of coastal hikes too. Modern kitchen with everything we needed, nice welcome hamper with eggs, butter, bread, snacks and wine was a lovely touch and much appreciated. Lovely cosy lounge/dining area. Comfy beds with nice bed linen and soft towels supplied for pool swims. Plenty of things to do in the park too-tennis, crazy golf... Alison was a great host and brilliant communication prior and during our stay. Perfect spot for a coastal holiday! We will be back in the summer!

We've had an excellent time at the triangle house!! We were 4 adults + 2 children. The camping site is lovely, the accomodation was perfect, very clean and tidy, very welcoming and comfortable (the only downpoint is the lack of pressure in the shower, but it was not that important to us), clear instructions were given to get in, and all along the comunication with Emmeline was excellent. We couldn't have hoped for a better choice for our familly weekend. We would definitely recommand it, and come back if we are ever in Kent again!

This was my second time staying at Rachel’s chalet, I’ve actually booked my third stay for the summer! Myself, my partner and my 10 month old little girl absolutely ADORE Rachel’s chalet! I cannot complain about a single thing, beautiful home, comfortable and cosy. Literally a home from home. Huge, comfortable bed. Lovely living area and also beautiful decor! Right by the local train station, the beach, the local town. You just cannot go wrong with this place! Already counting down the weeks until we return!🩷 Thank you so much Rachel & Warren x

Nice stay! Comfortable beds, clean rooms, thoughtfully laid out, well equipped, and so close to great walks and heritage sites. The kids loved the indoor pool. The chalet is probably meant to be enjoyed best in warmer weather but Neil provided enough space heaters to keep warm. The electricity is run on coin meter- took about 6-7£ for 2 days in February, could probably get away with half of that in warmer months.

We absolutely loved this little lodge, perfect stay for a weekend away! It was so peaceful and having the hot tub was such a nice touch to our stay of relaxing and just having a laugh. Sam & Allison were great and they have done such an amazing job with this Airbnb! We will definitely be visiting again in the year, thank you once again for having us 😊

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the cabin. Kids loved having their own room and bathroom. Pleasantly surprised with having an en suite. Bed linen and towels provided. Was really handy having a washing machine/dishwasher with detergent too! Really lovely to sit out on the decked area, was quite the sun trap 🤩 Will definitely be visiting again. Thank you

We had a fabulous long weekend. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings but easy access to the town of Rye and beyond, great base to explore from. Had we needed anything, which we didn’t because everything had been thought of, Raphaele was on hand for us, very friendly and approachable and made us feel like nothing would have been a problem. We will certainly be visiting again, thank you Raphaele and Micheal.

What a wonderful little cottage in an amazing location! The beach is just across the road and the tide goes out for ever. My dog and I walked for miles on the sands. We also found beautiful walks at Rye Nature Reserve, Camber Castle and Dungeness. All offering breath-taking landscapes and wildlife and only a short drive away. Outback was a comfortable and cosy place to come back to when we just couldn't walk any further - plus Sonia had provided my favourite biscuits! If I had one wish, it would be to make the back garden as secure as the front (mainly, I suppose, for visitors with dogs or children). The road is not exactly busy, but is long and straight and the traffic goes by scarily fast. Could a gate be put across the gap between the kitchen corner of the cottage and the outer fence? With that endless view across the fields, that would be such a relaxing space to sit and enjoy a glass of wine. Thank you, Sonia, for such an enjoyable stay.
