“My partner and I intended to stay specifically in bath but had taken a gamble and stayed at Nick and Harriets. The right choice was made. We were 15 mins from Weston Super-mare, 1 hour from Cardiff and an hour from Bath. The area was very quiet and easily found on the satnav. The property itself was tasteful. We really felt welcome with the extra touches of the breakfast, tea/coffee and wood/kindling for the log burner. Parking as stated is mainly for a small car, but I drive a Seat Leon and with a couple manoeuvres it can be done. This will NOT stop us from staying again. Thank you”
The 'Old Brewery' annexe provides self catering accommodation attached to our own home. It has its own stable door entrance off the stone drive at the front of the house, where there is parking. It comprises of an open plan living space, double bedroom and shower room. We provide a welcome pack to greet you on your arrival. Our house is located in a small farming village called Kingston Seymour. The house has had many uses over its 200 year history and is now a much loved family home.
“Sparkling clean and cosy little annex. Lovely comfy bed and sofabed, well equipped kitchen complete with homely touches for breakfast – tea, coffee, croissants, jam and milk and in the bathroom plenty of hot water and fluffy white towels. Steve and Sue on hand in case of any issues going out their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Would definitely stay here again!”
Our self contained apartment is on the first floor of our 500 year old farm house. Although the farm is in the country side we are within 2 miles of junction 21 on the M5. Weston-super-Mare is 5 miles away, Bristol 15miles and Bath 20miles. The Mendips offer stunning walks, Cheddar gorge and Wells. We have three generations and a cat living in the farmhouse and would love to welcome people of all ages and backgrounds but sorry, no pets.
“We stayed in the Grange over New Year and it was the perfect cosy place to see out the old year and in with the new! You can really feel the history of the place, as it is where they used to make and store the cheese and still has some original shelving. But beautifully converted and really warm thanks to the air sourced heat pump. Lynda was a great host and even left is flapjacks warm from the oven! Great location for hiking and biking in the Mendips, and close to Bristol too. Would definitely come back here.”
