Nearby are Asterias, one of the most beautiful and famous areas for swimming in the crystal clear waters of the Aegean, with the hanging buildings and the imposing church of Agios Nikolaos proudly dominating in the background. There is no sandy beach.

A beautiful traditional house in the heart of Syros town, at the exclusive picturesque 'Vaporia' neighbourhood. The house is built on the rocks, with a unique view of the Aegean sea. It is built on four levels (many steps!) with private access to the seaside and a private open terrace. The two advertised, private rooms, are located on levels 3 and 4 and are accessible through the main entrance through level 1 (street level). The host family of two and a small dog and cat, live on levels 1 & 2.

Our accommodation is located in the center of Ermoupoli, more specifically in the main square of the island. From the balcony you can see part of the aristocratic Town Hall of Eros. The port is only 5 minutes away on foot, as well as the area Vaporia, Agios Nikolas Church and Apollo Theatre. In less than 100 meters is the central market and a multitude of cafes and dining options.
