Leah’s accommodation was a dream! The spacious, beautifully kept house had four bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, a cozy living room with a TV, and a lovely garden. The location was peaceful, private, and very safe—perfect for a relaxing stay. Leah was an excellent host, always in close touch, and her housekeeper, Mercy, was incredibly helpful. She was on-site whenever needed, and when we had trouble with Netflix, she and her son quickly sorted it out. The house was conveniently close to a supermarket and the main road, making it easy to catch an Uber into Thika town. For me and my boys, it was the perfect place to spend quality time together. I highly recommend Leah’s place and will definitely rent it again in the future!

Lisa was an amazing, proactive and engaging host. She made us feel at home and gave us all the information and recommendations we needed to make our stay pleasant. Her apartment truly exceeded our expectations. The surrounding area in Tatu City was really amazing. Our family had so many outdoor activities like bike ridding, walking, swimming and all in a very secure and well organized area. We were impressed by the kind of order and security and organization around Tatu City. The restaurants and shops around were amazing. Our kids felt at home and we would definitely recommend Lisa’s place. Most of all we truly appreciated the regular check ins by our host to find out if we were enjoying our stay as well as the beautiful, clean and well maintained apartment. We loved our stay at Kimakia tea cottage. The place has a bit of a quaint or rustic feel to it, and the "back in" feel is amazing. It's a little chilly so we made good use of the fireplace inside the house. Naomi kept us supplied with firewood. We loved the ambience of the place. Great place for relaxation in nature, listening to the river and the birds right from the porch. Did I mention the tea fields are beautiful? The reviews about the road being steep and muddy are true. We were able to get in and out despite heavy rains during our stay. But it was not easy even with a Land Cruiser Prado, so be prepared.
