Nice sauna can be rented for 800 sek - needs to be booked at least one day in advance. Takes 4-6 hours to heat. Own car or rental car is required. Or transport by taxi. No bus connection available. Från vardagsrummet har du en underbar utsikt över älven med Jukkasjärvi i bakgrunden, och på en stjärnklar kväll kan du (med lite tur) se norrskenet från vardagsrummet eller altanen utanför. På sommaren kan du njuta av midnattsolen och se älven svepa förbi bara 10 meter från altan. Naturen ligger bara runt hörnet, så på med vandringsskorna och ge dig ut på härliga promenader. Välkomna!

The location of the cabin is very good for spotting northern lights and within walking distance to the Icehotel across the river during winter.

Small cabin by the river

Accommodation right next to the river. You live in a guesthouse of a total of 18 square meters including bathroom. In all seasons, just sit on the bridge and enjoy nature. Max 2 persons, also children count as persons. The residence is not adapted to more why it is important to respect this limit. No pets allowed to be brought along. You can easily get to the property by car both summer and winter. Rental car should be booked well in advance as there are a lot of people during the season.

Welcome to stay with us close to the river in beautiful Poikkijärvi, a 15 minute car ride from Kiruna and 20 minute walk to Ice Hotel. We offer a unique living experience with reindeers outside your window (approx. Dec 15th-Apr 1st) in a quiet and calm village. A very good location for looking at northern lights.
