Rørnestinden Lodge is a newly renovated holiday home in Kjosen, 2.5 km from Lyngseidet. The house is newly renovated, but we have chosen to keep the old style intake so that you get a feeling of staying in a residence with an atmosphere from the 1980s. Although Lyngen is best known as a ski destination, the area has much more to offer in winter, spring, summer and autumn. Cozy cabin with SAUNA (sauna) 6 km north from Lyngseidet city center. The cabin is a total of 49 sqm and is great for 3-4 adults or a small family. The cabin contains : living room, toilet /shower , kitchen and 3 bedroom stall: inside the stall there is a washing machine - Large porch where there are barbecue facilities to view the Lyngenfjord. ( wood or charcoal is not included in the price) - The cabin should be left in order and tidy. - Used bedding and towels must be removed and put in the laundry basket.

An excellent starting point for experiencing one of Norway's most spectacular areas, whether there is free skiing in the famous Lyngen Alps or if you want to hunt the northern lights with amazing mountains as an area. The house is a practical starting point for hiking in both mountains and forest, both for families and those seeking challenges.

We love our house! It's on the most amazing location right by the sea with a view over beautiful mountains, surrounded by nature, and if you are lucky you'll see wild life like reindeers, otters, moose and whales and you can also see Northern Lights from the house. We built the house in 2018 and moved in right away. The house is modern, well equipped and it has a fantastic panorama sauna only a few meters from the sea. The place is quiet and the neighbors are very friendly and helpful.

Gamtunet - idyllic cabin - spectacular location

Gamtunet is a charming old log house with a top modern architectural extension including all commodities. The view is spectacular encompassing the Lyngen landscape from the view to the Ulsfjord to the alpine peaks of Trollvasstind, Sofiatind and the Jiehkkevárri massif. We still have lots of snow in the mountains so it looks like skiing will be good all through May at least.
