There are large windows offering a 360-degree view of nature and fields. You can choose to block out the view with the blinds and create a more cozy evening atmosphere as needed. In front of the house, you can see the great egret in the lake, and there is a chance to spot harriers, swallows, ducks, and more, as well as large flocks of starlings in spring/autumn – a veritable cloud of black. All of this helps provide a nature-friendly experience.

The Nolde Museum is in the immediate vicinity and Denmark is only 3 km away.

The estate is located between Niebüll and Risum-Lindholm. Forget your worries and enjoy the tranquility in the middle of fields. Enjoy the light North Frisian breeze on the terrace with a cup of coffee. Take a bike ride on the dike to Dagebüll (13 km) and from there to Föhr or Amrum. The way to Sylt or Denmark is also not far... Should the North Frisian weather show its dark side, the fireplace with its cozy warmth is ready.

Welcome to our terp in Waygaard near the lake Botschlott. The accommodation is a traditional thatched farmhouse flat with a view overlooking the lake, the surrounding meadows and the North Frisian marshes. It is ideal for nature lovers: you can canoe, cycle and watch the flocks of birds that use the partly protected lake as a migration and nesting site. The house was carefully restored with natural materials in 2025/2026

Our accommodation is located directly on the dike and close to the Südwesthörn swimming area. The quiet secluded location and cul-de-sac location allows our little guests to play safely in front of our house and dike. Especially the healthy salt and iodine-containing air will help all guests with breathing problems to breathe well again.
