“Lovely stay in quiet and beautiful surroundings. Dorthe's helpfulness was well above what to expect. Can only be recommended if you would like to have a nice and different stay”
Historic old thatched farmhouse / boom house from 1763, newly renovated with private bath, kitchen. Lovely rural location. Close to Copenhagen, cozy harbor with several eateries and beach which can be reached by a forest path. At the Nivågaard Art Museum, Louisiana, 10 min to Helsingør with Kronborg Castle. Access to a beautiful flower garden and stream from which to fish directly from the lawn, salmon, trout, pike. Fishing rods and various outdoor / indoor games can be borrowed. Help with info about the area / sights.
“Charming, historic toll house with comfortable, modern amenities. Short train ride to Copenhagen, 45-minutes biking to Helsingør along the ocean, about 1 hour biking to the amazing Frederiksborg Slot (castle). Quiet, peaceful village setting. Bring your own sheets or pay small fee to rent. Lots of great tourist resources provided - brochures, books and maps - in English and Danish. Host was very helpful and fast to respond!”
