Want to experience authentic archipelago life? There are only 4 fishing cottages in Tupalaka Island, one of which is this Maunula family cottage. Once upon a time, it was a safe place for fishermen, as well as a resting place. Today, it's no longer so much for professional use, but as a family getaway where the soul rests. Water is carried from land, the sauna is heated with trees, and washed in clean sea water. Outdoor toilet. Not suitable for people with limited mobility. NO TRANSPORTATION TO THE ISLAND, INDEPENDENTLY MANAGED TRIPS.

Expansive lawn and natural forest with sea views. With a small lakeside sauna, a large 30 m2 south facing sun terrace and hot tub, its use is agreed upon separately. Family friendly and cultural activities close by. Peaceful and cozy place. Suitable for families with children, groups, or couples, but not for people with limited mobility.

Welcome to the Sea in Öja, approx 15 km from Kokkola city! In this wonderful and calm environment, you will especially love the Sauna - enjoying the amazing view over the sea! Built in 2022/23. Unfortunately there is no access to water in winter time. But if you like winter swimming, we´ll keep the ice open to take a dip in the Sea. A sofa bed for 2 pers and a small loft for 2 kids is available. Floor heating, a cosy stove, all cooking possibilites and WIFI is for your convenience.

Cosy cabin with sauna and beautiful glass patio

Welcome to our beautiful cabin. It used to be an old grain barn but is now refurbished into a stylish guesthouse. On the ground floor there is a kitchen with a table and a sofa, and a small toilet. Upstairs you find a king size bed and a bedsofa. Next to the house there is a sauna with shower. Use of the sauna has to be agreed on with us beforehand. On the outside there are two furnished patios and a glazed-in lounge. The house is in the same yard as our family home.

A marked nature trail starts right next to the cottage, a children’s playground is about one kilometer away, and both a rowing boat and a barrel sauna – available all year round – are free to use.
