'Merilokki'- one-bedroom apartment with sauna near the sea

The apartment was really nice, even better than in the pictures, everything felt newly renovated, well decorated, clean and fresh, incredibly comfortable bed for a good night's sleep, the sauna a big plus, had a great time. The area had good walking paths, it was really close to the water so nature was nice in the surroundings. Quiet area, nothing that bothered. Near to supermarkets and shops. Great contact with host Tytti. Free parking, all appliances/machines/electronics that were needed, fridge and freezer, stove, oven, microwave, washing machine (large drying room in the building), toaster, coffee maker, kettle, etc. Complete accommodation. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay at Jenni’s apartment! It was easy to find and we felt right at home from the moment we walked in! Everything was so clean and well decorated! Jenni has a great binder full of information including instruction manuals for the appliances which came in handy for us being from the US along with local recommendations. The apartment is walkable to many nearby stores and restaurants but we did have a car on our stay. Jenni is also always very quick to respond with anything that we may have needed which is very much appreciated! We loved that we had our own personal sauna! Everything about our stay here was amazing and we would highly recommend! If we come back to this town again in the future we would stay here again!!!

Great place, great location, car was parked right at the door (3m) away. The space was tastefully decorated and much better than a hotel. Sheets, beds, covers all clean and luxurious. The cleanliness was second to none. We had a family of 5 people visiting and there was a potty for the kids, 2 high chairs, a tub for washing the kids, a children's bed, and toys. Definitely we'll come back if you need to come to Kokkola with the family. I also recommend anyone to ask. I'll also be visiting for all my work trips in the future.

Our family with two adults and two kids stayed here for a week over Christmas. There was plenty of room, with comfortable beds and warm and cuddly. We really appreciated that it was a bit Christmas decorated. There was a great hefty shower and full kitchen with a small mini bar even. The location in Jakobstad is great with walking distance to most things, like the city's nice swimming pool, grocery stores and restaurants.

Comfortable and spacious new apartment in a quiet area. Great outdoor opportunities. The double bed blanket was too small for the two of us, luckily there was a spare blanket in the car 😄

Spacious lovely old single-family home. Shops and downtown within walking distance. In the neighborhood, similar houses, the jagged area, not the best of Pietarsaari, but peaceful. Small nice yard and deck. Cozy and nicely decorated apartment, very spacious. In the living room, a big TV and a comfortable couch. The upstairs sauna and shower were not used, downstairs a good bathroom. We were 2 adults and a dog, we were really entertained.

Siva's lovely and helpful host will be greeted. Peace and quiet, and that's what I got. The train track next door didn't bother you either. Tidy up the cottage with bedding and towels. The sauna got gentle steam and the hot tub was a big plus. Places to eat nearby(within walking distance) of which the host provided recommendations. Thanks so much for the weekend I'll definitely be back

Beautiful, bright and tidy apartment right on the water! The living room had glass doors straight to the terrace and it was lovely to enjoy the sunshine and watch the bird life of the water! The bedrooms were clean, the beds were good, and the bedding was clean and fresh. The sauna would have been a plus, but the shower was functional. The apartment matched the description and was very clean without any unnecessary detail. The kitchen had everything you need to cook, dishes for a larger group, and a special mention of a good selection of spices! Messaging with Marion was smooth and friendly. His apartment is in the same building at a different entrance, but it didn't hurt our vacation. I recommend this place!
