We offer guests a taste of farm life (if they so wish), peaceful walks, beautiful scenery, star gazing, the opportunity to do absolutely nothing, or a variety of activities within close proximity – from wine tasting to mountain bike trails, to museums.

Karin is a lovely host, not too close yet not too far and went the extra mile to make our stay most comfortable. She made sure there was toys for my kids as well as tea, coffee and even milk. We were also invited to make use of the trampoline and pool over at their house which the kids appreciated as well as the drive around the farm to meet the cows and sheeps. Lovely back garden with a pepper tree to relax and enjoy the quiet. Will definitely come back for more.”

What guests are saying:“We stayed at Picketberg on the way from South Africa to Namibia. We ran in the house of Nicolin for a week. It's nice that we were allowed to arrive at 10 in the morning and immediately settled. The town itself is very nice and is located in the midst of beautiful landscapes: mountains and fields. The apartments are located in the owner's house and endless yellow fields are visible from the doors and windows. Sunsets and sunrises are simply magnificent. The apartment is homely, it has everything you need. The hosts are very friendly, welcoming and sociable. Nearby there are wineries with restaurants where local people spend time, we really liked it. The apartments have fans, air conditioning, hot water, internet, TV. Car parking in the garage, which closes. Recommend!!!!!”
