We loved this little farm so much. Everything was perfect for our stay. The doodle Arlo and little terrier Scout were a great welcoming committee. Staying in a rustic barn loft is a must here. The views from your windows were awesome. The horses, sheep, chickens, cows, dogs and the blue heron were such a fantastic addition to our already enjoyable stay. The small kitchen was adequate for our stay. Coffee and tea were available for your enjoyment. The beds were so comfortable. The ball and claw old look bath tub with surrounding rustic look shower curtains was an experience in itself. Micheal and Beth were super friendly even though they were headed to a funeral they stopped to say good morning and welcomed us to their farm. This place was just what we were looking for a short stay.

We had a fantastic stay at Jame’s home. The space was beautifully renovated, spotlessly clean, with very comfy beds, and perfectly located for our small groups bike event. James was incredibly responsive to our messages and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend this listing to anyone visiting the Ackerman area.

We found great peace here, and had a very restful night’s stay. Peggy was very helpful, allowing for an early checkin after our long drive over. The cabin was so cute, clean, and made to feel like home. We took solace in the sounds of nature, opposed to the usual bustle of our hometown, as we sat on the patio and enjoyed the atmosphere. We were also thankful for the kitchen utilities available so that we could cook a good breakfast before heading out. We found our stay passing through for an event near MSU, but this cabin ended up being an adorable place to cozy up with my honey for a night’s getaway after the event. Thank you, Peggy & Terry!

This was a perfect place for a weekend in Mississippi. It was not very far from Starkville, which is where we spent a lot of time. We had some issues with the keypad lock when checking in and entering the place, but our host was very responsive and gave us instructions to enter the home in another way. Overall, this was a wonderful place to stay. I enjoyed our host's hospitality and responsive communication whenever I messaged. I recommend this place for anyone looking to spend a weekend near Starkville!

I cannot say enough about my stay here! The place is wonderful. I had a party of 9-7 adults and 2 children; we had plenty of space. The mattresses on the beds are AMAZING!!! I made certain to take photos of the mattress. I already ordered pillows from the company that makes the mattress. As soon as I’m settled back home, I’m ordering the mattress!!! The home was clean and prepared nicely for us when we arrived. I loved going for morning walks on the property. It is private and so spacious that I could sing loudly without fear of harming the ears of others. If you’re one for country get-a-ways, you will NOT be disappointed with staying here. I loved it so much, I’m going to buy some land in the area and build a place of my own for my trips to Mississippi. Absolutely loved it.
