“Puri Brata is a very magical place where I felt very comfortable as a single traveler, always go back and absolutely recommend. A beautiful garden, in which there is much to discover. The many hidden seating and places invite to read, to enjoy the tranquility and to be easy. Perfect to escape a weekend of the hot, loud and messy city. The breakfast was good and the food, which can be ordered à la carte, was really good and not above average Indonesian prices, but over average portions, which is good if you're used to European portions. There are bicycles available for free to explore the area and drive to the sea, which is only about 4km away. It is not a beach, but absolutely worth a visit. The way there leads through fields, past small houses with friendly people, all nice greetings. For the journey: For 200.000IDR I was picked up in Jogja at my accommodation and also brought back. Super uncomplicated.”
Дом расположен в традиционной яванской деревне рядом с рисовыми полями. Красивые закаты и рассветы. Это тихое и спокойное место, свободное от городской или туристической суеты.

“We love Joan & Imams place. We felt at home straight away. Joan provide us with everything we needed. She even managed to find a mixer so we could make our daily need of fresh juice. The kitchen has everything you need. And they also provided as with enough drinkwater for at least a week. The beds have mosquito nets, which is nice. But there’s not many mosquitos anyway. Yes, there’s no warm water. But you won’t miss it. The shower is refreshing and amazing. And if u have little kids like we do, ask Joan for a big bucket, you can boil water and the kids can bathe in warm water. It took us 10-15 minutes walk to the beach nearby. We really love the walk there. A cow always greet us with a ‘moohh’ which my three year old translated as a ‘helllooo’. Joan also help us to find a contact for sunrise trekking in mount merbabu which was amazing according to my husband and son. For a nice sunset, drive up to bukit paralayang. Its close by. And have dinner there while enjoying the view from the top. We loved our stay there. We love the house. Everything was really amazing!”
