Vacation rentals in Kumage District

Ein wunderschönes Haus, das keine Wünsche offen lässt. Wir schätzen die geschmackvolle Einrichtung und die ruhige Umgebung sehr. Wir waren eine Woche hier, wären aber gerne länger geblieben. Die Gastgeber sind ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit.

We loved every minute of our stay. The cottage is located away from the main road within a beautiful forest (a small creek you can bathe in!) and a tea plantation (a car is recommended). Kayoko left clear instructions and the check in was simple. The cottage has a beautiful view of the sea from the porch area, which we enjoyed sitting on before and after our hikes. The place is beautifully decorated and has all the amenities you could need. Although there isn’t a full kitchen, we managed to cook simple dishes with the combo-microwave. We only stayed for three nights but could have stayed for much longer. We’ll always remember it as a special place and hope we can return here one day! Thank you Kayoko :)

we had an excellent time at this place. the house is large and comfortable as well as beautiful and very tastefully decorated. the kitchen has everything you might need. the sauna was an excellent addition and we enjoyed using it very much. all in all this is a great place to stay with a great host and very highly recommended.

야쿠시마에서 숙박할 예정이고, 렌트카가 있다면 이곳을 무조건 추천드립니다‼️ 에어비앤비에 기대하는 모든 점들을 다 충족시켜 주는 곳입니다🥹 야쿠시마는 음식점이 일찍 문을 닫고, 금방 만석이 돼서 외식을 하기가 어려웠습니다. 그렇지만 숙소 근처에 마트가 있어서 음식 조달이 쉬웠고, 커틀러리와 조미료 등이 구비되어 있어 요리해먹을 수 있어 좋았습니다. 침구도 깨끗하고 편하며, 화장실도 깨끗하여서 편안한 시간이었습니다. 호스트는 답장이 빠르고, 친절하셨습니다. 근처 맛집 안내와 편의시설 안내까지 해주셔서 좋았습니다. 다음에 야쿠시마에 오면 또 묵고 싶습니다!!

Cameron’s place is absolutely stunning, we completely fell in love with it the moment we arrived. The interiod design is beautiful, with so much attention to detail, and the whole house feels incredibly warm and welcoming. It’s also very spacious, with plenty of room for everyone to relax and feel comfortable. The beds were super comfy, making it easy to get a great night’s sleep. Honestly, the house looks even better in person than in the listing photos, which is saying a lot! We couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Hiroko was a fantastic host! She gave me lots of information on hikes and restaurants on Yakushima, and helped me figure out transportation as well. Her place is very conveniently located next to a bus stop and close to the airport, and her place has the best shower pressure of anywhere I’ve stayed in Japan

Lovely home with ocean views, very clean and quiet. Comfortable and spacious, it had everything we needed such as a variety of cooking condiments, washer+dryer, extra blankets, etc. Proactive, responsive, communicative host was very nice. It was a little hard to find the place but that was because we didn't get to read the detailed check in instructions provided - please do this when you arrive as there's a separate route for arrival by car vs by walking, and Google maps suggested the walking way. The road to the house is a bit narrow but is fine unless you're new to driving. The internet is not fast but this is clearly mentioned on the listing. We enjoyed our stay and would come back, thank you!

Unser Aufenthalt auf Yakushima war wunderbar. Die Natur der Insel ist atemberaubend. Das Haus ist ruhig und idyllisch gelegen, mit Blick aufs Meer- einfach toll! Es ist hell und sehr geräumig, die Materialien und die Ausstattung sind hochwertig und gut durchdacht. Die Betten sind sehr komfortabel, wir haben hervorragend geschlafen. Wir haben den Aufenthalt in diesem Haus sehr genossen und können es absolut empfehlen.
