Felt like home! Akiko put a lot of effort and love in her house and the communication with her was easy and she gave us a warm, welcoming feeling (which is rare on airbnb nowadays). The location is absolute perfect, everything what is important for traveling is in walking distance. The house is fully equipped with everything you may need and you have a lot of space. The house might get a little cold during cold seasons, but you can use the heater and a kotetsu. Sometimes you do hear noise from neighbours like cars, the garage/parking lot or the apartement house behind the White cat house. But still the neighborhood is very quite. We would definetely come back and highly recommend to book with Akiko. ❤️

I used it for the first time! I used it with high expectations, but it still exceeded my expectations in many ways.To put it bluntly, it took a long time to use it because there was only one bath for a large group!It would have been nice to have another shower. We had a wonderful time. I want to use it again!

It is much more beautiful and wonderful than in the photos. It is the perfect place for sightseeing in Mount Aso, and easily accessible by rental car from Kumamoto Airport. I spent a comfortable day with my mom and husband. Everything needed for accommodation is prepared. The spacious and excellent bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom, bathtub, and all the facilities are very clean and perfect. The host is really kind and considerate. I definitely want to visit again with my children. Thank you ~

It has a fairly good location and facilities for travelling around the area of Aso. It has two bedrooms and plenty of sofas, so it's perfect for families.

I enjoyed our stay. Accommodate my family and had everything we needed. The heaters were able to kept us warm.

Yuki is a really friendly and responsive host! The apartment had all necessary amenities for a long stay. It's about a 5-10 minute walk to the station- you can take the JR Line to Kumamoto Station or the tram to downtown Kumamoto & Kumamoto Castle. The bikes are a lovely addition. There's a nice bakery across the street as well.

The house was clean and the things of the house were complete.The stay was nice. The host was very nice and willing to help and give convenience. Will definitely book again in need next time.

It was so, so good. I was very satisfied with the price, and the location is easy to access anywhere in Shimotori. However, I think it may be a little difficult for those with large bodies because the stairs are somewhat high and the width of the hallway is narrow. The exterior wall of the building looked a little worn, so the interior was well organized and comfortable to rest. There were three 220v pig nose plugs and two USB chargers, so it was comfortable. The ramen shop on the ground floor was really great. Thank you.

Thats is the best place in kumamoto. Nice furniture, clean environment. Nothing to blame.

We used it on the second day of our 2-night, 3-day trip.There was a washing machine with a dryer, which was very helpful. When staying in a hotel, I do not use the laundry, but this time I was able to relax and go out while doing laundry, so I used it. It is easy to think that laundry will be a little easier when you return home. I was grateful to have bath towels because there was less laundry after I got home.

The location is very good to walk to Shimoton shopping street within 10 minutes
