You can fully enjoy mountain sightseeing at this time of year, such as Kamikochi, Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, Hakuba and Happo Pond.From the second half of August to September, the summer bustle subsides, and it's a season when you can enjoy the quiet of Shinshu. Go to the mountains and highlands during the day, and the tranquility of Satoyama at night. This is a rental cottage where you can enjoy a sauna, BBQ, and a starry sky. As a base for sightseeing in Azumino and Hakuba/Kamikochi, you can enjoy a comfortable stay for one night or multiple nights. There is also good access to Hakuba, Kamikochi, and Tateyama-Kurobe, and it is suitable for group trips, family trips, and long-term stays.With a washing machine and bathroom dryer, it's comfortable for extended stays. You can also get here by public transportation, but it's more convenient if you have a car. Free shuttle service is available to and from Shinano-Matsukawa Station and Akashina Station.Other transfers and sightseeing transfers are available for 2,000 to 8,000 yen (round trip) depending on the distance, for trips within 2 hours each way.For groups of 5 or more, please contact us in advance to arrange a rental car. Mökki means "cottage" in Finnish. Spend your time in a special place surrounded by nature. Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano Town, which is blessed with forests, lakes and snow in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture, and there are many natural places such as Kurohime Kogen, Lake Nojiri and Togakushi nearby. You can freely use the comfortable building renovated with natural materials such as cedar, cypress, and plaster, the natural garden that creates seasonal views, and the forest where the stream flows.In the forest that we have been maintaining, you can see birds, squirrels, and raccoons, and you can enjoy strolling around looking for wild vegetables and mushrooms, as well as swings and hammocks. Across the road, the nationally registered tangible cultural property "Ichihara Shrine" sits quietly. Relax in a quiet townhouse that is a renovated old private house. As for the location, you can walk to the coast in 1 minute and enjoy the beautiful view of Toyama Bay and the majestic Tateyama mountain range, which is over 3000 meters high. Firefly squid sightseeing in early spring is also famous. The nearest station is an 8-minute walk to Nameri Station (Ainokaze Railway, Toyama Railway), and 9 minutes by car to the Nameri Interchange on the Hokuriku Expressway, with good access to Toyama Prefecture, Hokuriku, and the surrounding Gifu, Nagano, and Niigata prefectures. Nearby, there are fish shops and taverns where you can eat delicious fish from Toyama Bay, a natural fish tank, at affordable prices, as well as unique cafes and sweet shops. This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)
