The house is exactly as listed. It IS rustic and you should adjust your expectations accordingly. There are some (very) minor "things" which really didn't cause too much of a problem (the cooking area's lighting is a bit dim - but we still managed OK). The house feels quite comfortable and "warm", so there was no issue in settling in. It's close to all major roadways and the local town is a couple hundred metres away (cafes, great bakery and grocery stores). Sue was very helpful (Sorry Sue - I didn't see your message about putting the bins out!).

Fantastic accommodation and location. Peter, the host, was very welcoming and proactive in ensuring we had all the information we needed to arrive and get access. Brilliant hosts, very generous and helpful. Very peaceful and quiet location. The accommodation was excellent and highly suitable for a family. It was very clean and spacious and had all the amenities you need. It was well furnished, had very comfortable beds, and had a homely feel. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it to anybody looking for great accommodation in the Hunter.

Steven was always quick to respond with any issue we had. This home is in a quiet residential setting. Though we didn’t cook meals there, the kitchen is stocked with every utensil and appliance needed. We appreciated the coffee, tea, condiments, and hot cereal he provided.
