We had a great stay in Simens house. Location is great, just by the fjord. Has enough space and the needed amenities. The views to the fjord are spectacular. Sleeping was good, house was clean and communication with Simen was great. Definitely recommended if you want to stay by the Hardangerfjord.

The house is very well and quietly located. It is modernly furnished and equipped with everything needed for a stay: enough cutlery, dishes, cooking pots, pans and other kitchen equipment including various electrical appliances. The bathroom was just as well equipped. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the time very much. The hot tub with great views over the bay unfortunately sweetened us a little bad weather. Many thanks to Mia and Morton for their friendly communication and hospitality!

We had a lot of fun at Kari's cabin! There were 12 of us and it went just fine. Nice and quiet space. Only thing is that the jacuzzi was not heated, so lost an evening of enjoyment in the stomp. But otherwise, it was great! 😊

Our stay at this converted boathouse retreat was nothing short of magical. Nestled right on the water in Kvinnherad, the views were absolutely unreal—tranquil fjords surrounded by majestic mountains. It’s a short walk to the cabin and it’s totally worth it! The boathouse itself is cozy, and full of charm, making it the perfect getaway. This spot is also a dream for fishing enthusiasts! The host was amazing—so warm and welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure we had an unforgettable stay. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with stunning scenery and incredible fishing, this place is a must-visit. We would definitely come back!

Gunnlaug is a very caring host. Lovely furnished and very well equipped house with a wonderful view, even more beautiful than in the pictures. Very childfriendly with a nice playroom with kitchen. A fantastic area, we had a lovely time here.

The accommodation is a true find. Wonderfully located, right on a fjord with breathtaking scenery. Everything was perfect and Jan Helge and Mai Britt were just wonderful hosts who were always immediately helpful and equipped the house perfectly. We felt super comfortable and drove back with heavy hearts. We will definitely be happy to come back. A dream.

Me and my friends went on a weekend trip there and location was beautiful. Home felt very cozy, peaceful, was clean and spacious enough for eight people. Towels, bedding and toiletries were provided. Beautiful garden and backyard with plenty of places to sit outside to enjoy morning coffee's and evening drinks. Host always responded fast and was helpful whenever we needed help.

We spent wonderful days in the house with two families with teenagers. Christian was always available and gave us good tips.

It was again a very nice holiday. This quite area is so slowing down. Geir Inge is always on hand when needed. Always happy to come back.

I can only say wow! If you are looking for a quiet, idyllic place without much luxury, this is the place to be. Everything you need is there - except a shower - you can also shower in the village or just use the sink:) We can 100% recommend this place, we will definitely be back.

This place is magical beyond words and you are so lucky if you book this place. It is simple, peaceful with generations and history in the walls. At our stay in September we witnessed warm summer days and also the wet western side of the weather and they are equally beautiful. Cows, horses, sheep, cats and owls came to visit. This is the perfect place to just log of and just enjoy the sound of nature. The rivers and the wind passing through the mountains. And the view! The place has an amazing placement overviewing the whole of Rosendal. A short ride and you are back to civilization. Rosendal is a small and cozy town and Baroniet is worth a visit. If you like hiking and don't mind the steep, the opportunities are endless.
