A hidden gem, the kind of place you don’t want to write a review about, to make jt. carefully kept secret. Hosts were nice; very kind and relaxed. Breakfast was awesome.

Great location and very nice surrounding. There were odd flies inside the property but it is end of summer and it is in the nature. Lovely Jacuzzi and sauna.

This is a great place to stay, beautiful views, peaceful location, very well equipped kitchen! strongly recommended!

Ingers and Knuts place was just wonderful, the fjord in front of us, kajaks to be rent for free, swimming directly from the house, incredible views, a very kind and hospitable host, a easy accessible sauna, fishing ropes, bicycles, just everything what we needed. Knut welcomed us, showed us around and he and his wife were just always available when we needed something. And the wooden house with its details was just wonderful to live in for a week. We would love to come back!! Thank you so much.

Cozy place with a beautiful view

Decent little apartment and a good host.

The apartment was great, very spacious. Great bedrooms and beds. The view fantastic. The host offered to take us in his car to a famous local castle, which was fantastic. One small negative remark was the kitchen facilities which was simple compared to the rest of the apartment

We had a wonderful time at Geir's place. The accommodation and surroundings are very nice and very lovingly furnished. A few curious goats walk around the property. Geir and his wife are very friendly and invited us to dinner and a cozy evening. We felt really comfortable! Gladly again :)) Thank you

Spacious kitchen and living room, everything needed was available. Nice view over Skanevik fjord. We also did the roadtrip suggested by Frode, it was very scenic and beautiful.

We felt completely comfortable, the apartment offers everything you needed was clean and pleasantly decorated. The area is breathtaking and provides ample opportunities for activities.

We spent a wonderful week in Iman's house with a very nice view of the fjord. The apartment is very nice and furnished to a high standard and you feel right at home. It was just perfect for us. The contact with Iman also worked out great. We can only recommend it!

Me and my wife had a great time, we were warmly welcomed at the property and shown around and explained everything we need to do and what was available. They explained the history of the location and what to visit, they had a wealth of knowledge of the area. It is place I would recommend to anyone wanting to visit the place. Eli’s place was comfortable and at a very nice location close to the port (just 5-6 minutes walking). Her place was cozy and clean. She gave us instructions for how to get in and everything ran smoothly! The restaurant next to the room has exceptional sushi as well!

Gunnar’s place is absolutely perfect for exploring Rosendal. If you’re in town for Restaurants Iris, you can see the Salmon Eye boats from the window! Restaurants and grocery stores are mere minutes away and you’re at the foot of some of the most incredible hikes. Rarely can you find some a delightful Airbnb with perfect water and mountain views, but you’ve found it here. The cherry on top is Gunnar is an incredibly welcoming, helpful host. I wasn’t arriving until late and had to be on some NYC-timed work calls past when the restaurants in town would be closed, so Gunnar not only gave me some great suggestions for getting fed but even offered to pick up food for me. I can’t wait to visit again!

Marte Karin’s place is amazing! Just next to the sea and within tranquillity. We loved the interior a lot as well. The apartment is spacious. Marte Karin is also very helpful! 100% recommend to visit!

Very comfy and welcoming apartment, you can tell how much love and effort went into this Airbnb. It‘s also very clean and has everything you need and more. Geir answered our questions directly and was vey kind. The only noise you can hear in that area is the sound of the river. :)

A great stay in beautiful Rosendal! The apartment was exactly as described, very easy to find with clear instructions from Cristofer and straightforward access via the lockbox. The apartment was very clean and comfortable with everything needed for a wonderful stay. The location is excellent, close to the centre of town and the ferry station, with a supermarket next door, a restaurant across the road and a cafe nearby. We stayed in Rosendal to visit Iris at the Salmon Eye and the apartment was an absolutely perfect base.

The place offers an amazing view of the fjord, especially from the living room. I really enjoyed the spacious kitchen, perfect for cooking with plenty of amenities. There are also fantastic hiking opportunities nearby, whether you're interested in a scenic walk around the fjord or a more challenging climb up a hill. Spar is nearby which is really handy.
