“Séverine, her husband and her daughters greet their guests in a remarkable way in an accommodation of absolute cleanliness and calm. All the necessary materials are present and if anything is missing ask them. Worth of trust. Go there with your eyes closed. ++++++”
Our garden leads straight onto the 50 mile long towpath along the river Mayenne. We are in peaceful countryside, but with easy access to the picturesque county-town of Laval. We live in one half of the house, and guests have their own entrance to their half - a perfect combination of self-contained privacy, with help on hand if needed. The Exit 3 on the Paris - Brittany motorway (A81) is a few minutes drive - making Rennes and Le Mans less than 1 hour away by car. Free wifi.
“Le Bas Rocher is a wonderful Airbnb Situated in a quiet rural setting directly over looking the river Mayenne on the border of Saint Jean sur Mayenne and very close to Montflour. The house itself is conjoined to the owner’s home but we felt we were in our own private haven. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped, the bedrooms spacious, all with sparkling clean shower rooms. Chris was a excellent host who took the time to show us how everything worked including the TV with British channels. The added special touches of juice, milk, butter, brioche and wine made us feel extremely welcome.”
