Pet-friendly vacation rentals in La Balme-de-Thuy

Chalet Blanmatin is located a bit outside the center of Le Grand Bornand, in a very calm spot. The chalet is easily reachable by the free bus which takes you to the center of the village and also to the slopes for skiing. The chalet has all modern comfort with a well equipped kitchen and bathrooms. The living area is very cozy with great views over valley on both sides. The jacuzzi outside is a nice plus. For us it was also nice that we could take along our dog for whom it was the first holiday in the snow. Thanks also to Bénédicte for the warm welcoming and for being our contractperson during our holidays. We certainly would love to come back and thus can highly recommend this chalet.

Very nice accommodation, as described. We enjoyed it on our family weekend with young children. The quiet garden with its jaccuzi not overlooked is a plus. We'll be happy to come back in the summer for the pool. Anne-Valérie was very responsive in our exchanges and very accommodating for schedules. Thank you for this weekend.

A peaceful and serene stay at this charming cottage with splendid views of the mountains. The cottage is perfectly equipped and comfortable and Patricia is an extremely attentive host. We will come back without hesitation.

Lovely spacious apartment with a beautiful view into woodland from the main living area. The accomodation was very clean and Denee along with her team were very helpful and attentive hosts.

For the second year in a row, we had a wonderful stay with Julie, with the family (6 adults and 3 children between 1.5 and 5 years old). The cottage is beautiful, very spacious and perfectly equipped (from fondue caquelon to sleds and toys), the fenced garden is a real plus for the children. Everything is even more beautiful than in the photos! Julie is responsive and very kind, we were even able to arrive earlier on Saturdays and enjoy the ski slopes. The chalet is less than ten minutes drive from La Clusaz and the ski slopes. St-Jean-de-Sixt is also a cute village with all the necessary shops. We loved it and will definitely be back!

Beautiful place with wonderful view

We had a wonderful stay, the house is perfect even more beautiful than in the photos, all the necessary equipment. Great adorable hosts, attentive, full of good advice, we felt like we were at home. Full of things to discover nearby, the area is beautiful and we were lucky enough to have a beautiful sun. We'll be back! Go there without so much as a second thought.

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay in a charming little chalet. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and we felt right at home. The chalet was well-equipped for a peaceful self-catering experience, and having nearby supermarkets was convenient. While it was a bit snug for five adults, we managed just fine. The cleanliness upon arrival was impeccable. 😊

Enjoy your stay, everything was good. We had a good time with the family. It would just be necessary to specify by message that you have to bring a computer to enjoy the overhead projector because no TV. (But a stay without screens doesn't hurt.) Nordic bath very well, just a shame to have to pay for each use but overall everything was great.

We were pleasantly received by our host Fabien, very accessible, attentive and responsive to our requests. The spacious apartment is very well equipped, it is not fully valued by the photos of the site. Very functional, the terrace opens directly to the snow front which allows access to the apartment without going through the main door and the elevator. Very quiet environment. Shops nearby. We had a great week.

The space was just perfect. Very well equipped and very clean. The host makes us feel at home with all these little touches ☺️ I would definitely recommend this place and we would not hesitate to come back! 😉
