Monthly Rentals in La Conchita Beach

A perfect place to be quiet in a natural setting. The cabin has a very California wabi sabi vibe. All details in design and furnishings are high taste and high quality. The neighborhood has a natural feel, oaks all round. Birds flourish. I checked out the dawn chorus every morning to hear the first birds. It might be the Bewick’s wren, oak titmouse, spotted towhee, lesser goldfinch, mockingbird. In my two weeks I saw or heard a total of 74 bird species at the cabin or within short drives. I recommend this spot highly, and Charlie and his wife were perfect hosts.

We had a wonderful stay in this peaceful getaway. The Airstream is charming, cosy, and comfortable, and an inspiring project. Delia is an amazing host, she gave us good recommendations and was available in case we needed anything. The highlight of our stay was sitting around the fire pit with a glass of wine after a day of exploring. Would love to come back!

This place is one to go back to. The home is beautiful, the view and location are awesome. The accessibility to the beach is so fun. Our family had an amazing time here. It had everything we needed to enjoy the house and ourselves. I highly recommend it.

We LOVED having our Thanksgiving weekend at The Shoals Corner! The unit is charming, very comfortable, with a pull-out couch/bed conversion in the living room that gives a great view of the ocean (and sunsets!). From there, we could see a pod of dolphins feeding for quite a while one morning! We brought a crockpot and fixings from home, and made our turkey breast in the cozy kitchen for our holiday meal. The kitchen is really well stocked for up to four people. There's lots to do in central Ventura, so we worked out at a gym a couple of times, shopped for food and beverage extras next door to the gym, and drove around to look at neighborhoods. We also played miniature golf another day and thought about going to a movie...but the beach vibe, fresh air, and sunshine were so satisfying that we avoided indoor activities.
